Chapter 45. Loving Her

A/N: Thank you so much for the kind comments and the votes 💛 I'm less stressed out but I'm still slow on writing/updating this fic, so thank you all for the patience it means a lot to me... anyways as for the story, I've noticed how angsty this fic has become, sorry ◑﹏◐ tho the story's end will be the fluffiest ever just you wait 😉 the next chapter update will be before Christmas (for sure)

After several hours, Haru and the others had arrived at the location of said cabin which was far from the city of Hosu. Haru had asked the heroes to wait outside as he spoke first with Dabi and Shigaraki. Reluctantly they allowed him to do so.

Taking a deep breath, Haru knocked on the door. "Dabi, Shigaraki." He called out, "We need to talk, it's about [Y/N]."

No later did he mention [Y/N]'s name, the door opened and Haru was pulled inside. Haru looked around and saw both villains with a broken expression; they've certainly had seen better days.

"Yusuke?!" they asked rather shocked.

Haru awkwardly mumbled, "Uh more or less. Remember, my name is actually Hamasaki Haru, long story short... I've known [Y/N] since she was a child. I've been looking for her for years wondering how she's been. It was a huge shock to see the girl who was about to- turned out to be her precisely."

"So that's the reason why you protected her so much." Shigaraki sighed deeply.

"And yet she's..." Dabi trailed off.

"Dabi don't." Shigaraki interrupted but Dabi grew outraged.

"It's the truth!" he exclaimed, "None of us could help [Y/N]! All we did was throw her into a bigger mess than she already had. We made things worse with the secrets we held from her and the things we did..." Dabi spoke with devastation.

Haru who had remained silent watching the two bicker and lament, finally decided to ask them, "Would you two do anything to help her now?"

"Yes!" they loudly remarked, almost like Haru was dumb for asking such an obvious answer.

Haru sighed, "Even if it means working with a couple of heroes?"

The two villain's eyes widened. Shigaraki being the first to speak, "You're not being serious... are you?"

"Why would a couple of heroes even want to work with us?" Dabi crossed his arms looking at Haru like he had gone insane. "No one would trust us."

"Perhaps there might be a little tension but, what if I told you they were willing to work with you in order to help save [Y/N]."

"What heroes are we talking about specifically?"

"Wait." Shigaraki said looking confused, "Who is to say this isn't some sort of trap in where we accept such offer and then we get put to prison. I need to save [Y/N] and I can't do that if I'm detained." He scowled deeply.

Haru went into detail explaining how the heroes had approached him during his stay in the hospital. He left out the names of the heroes in hope of having Dabi and Shigaraki consider the deal.

"So you're saying there'd be some kind of deal, a way to lessen our punishment." Shigaraki scoffed. "What a load of nonsense."

"Bullshit, if you ask me." Dabi frowned, "However, if we can save [Y/N]..."

Both villains shared a look and nodded.

"Who proposed the idea?"

Haru looked at Dabi and confessed, "It was your younger brother Todoroki Shoto." He saw Dabi visible tense up but continued explaining anyways, "He proposed the idea to All Might before he went with Midoriya to try to find [Y/N] and AFO. Hawks, Best Jeanist, and Endeavor are also involved. I told them, the only people capable of stopping [Y/N] at this point are you two. Deep down [Y/N] is still [Y/N], the innocent girl who believed and yearned for love. Perhaps that might be the only way to save her now."
