It was a beautiful sunny day; not too hot and not a cloud in the sky.

"Honey! Come quick." [Y/N] shouted out to her loving husband.

"What is it Love?"

[Y/N] grinned as she pointed to their toddler playing in a field of flowers with butterflies surrounding them.

"They look so happy." Her husband smiled back. "Just like you Love."

[Y/N] nodded with a blissful expression. "How can I not be happy? We're finally together. That's all I could ever ask for."

He nodded in agreement. "If someone told me that would fall in love with such an amazing woman and form a family with years ago, I would've never believed them. Though I have to say meeting you has changed my life in so many ways and I'm beyond thankful for it."

Smiling [Y/N] touched his cheek lovingly. "You've loved me even at my worst."

"So did you. You've been patient with me, you showed me what love is." He told her.

She sighed with content. "Wouldn't it be nice?" she asked him as she stared off into the sunset. Her husband turned to her with a curious expression. "I wish time could stop. I wish you, our child and I could always be here and spend time like this."

"We can."

"Can we?" she asked with curious eyes.

He sighed. "[Y/N]... we can but you need to wake up from this."

[Y/N]'s eyebrows furrowed. Her eyes looking around and she found her toddler slowly fading. The flowers were becoming droopy and wilting.

"Why? This is much better. There's no pain here, no sadness, and you're here with me." Y/N pouted. "I like it here."

"I know you do." He caressed her face softly, "But you know this isn't real. The real me is out there looking for you. You don't realize it now but you're in danger."

"Danger?" she pondered confused; her eyebrows furrowed, "I don't understand."

"I need you to wake up, I promise you the moment you do, I'll be there to wipe your tears away. I'll protect you from everyone."

She frowned, "How can I be sure? Why can't I live here instead. There's no pain..." she insisted, "Out there... all I feel is pain and loneliness. You don't love me as much as you do here. In here I know what will happen. I know our love can be real here."

He frowned, "That's not true. He placed those thoughts in your head."

[Y/N] shook her head in denial.

"When you wake up, I promise we will be together." He held her hands in his.

"How can you be so sure? Will you fight for our love for real this time?" she asked him.

"Of course I'll fight for us and I can be sure of it because you showed me what love is. I'm sorry it's taken so long for me to realize it. I promise I won't push you away, I won't hide from this." He sweetly told [Y/N]. "A love like ours only comes once in a lifetime. Our love is the only real thing. With all the suffering we've felt, we deserve a happy ending, don't we?"

She smiled ever so happily at him, touched by his words. She answered, "We do."

"Trust me then, I'll come find you." He vowed. "So please wake up. Remember who you really are... you're the girl of my dreams."
