In the end, I didn't win first place. I got third. Not bad I guess, considering I recently got a quirk. Unlike a certain someone I happen to know. Deku...
The ceremony to hand out the medals began. I must say I did feel bad for Bakugou who well... they shouldn't have chained him up like that. The muzzle was a bit too much. Not only that but I can understand why he's mad.
Sho however, he's also suffering in his own way. Since the fight with Midoriya he's not the same. I tried approaching him before the ceremony but he simply hugged me and didn't say a word.

As we stood on the podiums ready to get our applause and congratulatory out of the way, Midnight began saying her speech and to my dismay the one delivering the medals to us winners was none other than All Might.
Just my luck.
"Congratulations Young girl." All Might spoke to me as he placed the medal on me. His actions were rather stiff, almost like he either couldn't contain his happiness or he was worried someone would realize our relationship.
It's probably the latter. Unfortunately.
"You surely gave us all a surprise there." He continued to tell me.
I feigned a kind tone and smiled forcefully, "Gee, thanks Sir."
"Remember to always keep doing your best and keep surprising everyone along the way." He told me as if encouraging me. Well if I hadn't known he was my dad I would've been delighted to hear those words come from the number one hero but... he's my dad. Couldn't he have at least said something more meaningful to me?
Those words were not what I wanted to hear. I wanted him to tell me...
Y̶o̶u̶ ̶c̶a̶n̶ ̶b̶e̶ ̶a̶ ̶h̶e̶r̶o̶ ̶t̶o̶o̶.̶
Next off he went to Sho who he congratulated him. His words seemed for affectionate, and not only that but he got a hug from All Might...
Shoto was lucky. But at the same time, I felt sad knowing how upset he is. He too has his problems with his dad. His dad pays too much attention to him, while mine ignores me for another...
Last was Bakugou who even All Might said they had gone overboard. He took off the muzzle and Bakugou said, "Even if society acknowledges it, if I don't it's trash!"
All Might tried calming the angry boy down telling him to consider this as a wound that shall never be forgotten and basically stuffed Bakugou's mouth with the medal.
I chuckled seeing that even All Might seemed to be having trouble with Bakugou. But once again his mouth was shut. Yet the angry energy radiating from him was no joke.
"The next generation of heroes will surely sprout from the seeds planted on this day..." All Might continued a motivational speech for everyone.
But he blew it by saying good work instead of Plus Ultra.

Afterwards we all headed to the classroom in where Aizawa told us we had the day of tomorrow and the next day off. Thank goodness. I don't think I could've handled more work.
As Aizawa left the classroom, most of us stayed inside chatting. Yet there were some who left; oddly Midoriya left ever so quickly. I guess he needed to talk to a UA teacher or something before it was too late or see Recovery Girl.
Yeah right. He's probably out there seeing All Might. Tch.
Either way, I went toward the person who truly gave me a run for my money out in the battling arena.
