Sometimes one needs to hit rock bottom to realize what truly matters in life and see where they want their life headed off to. Only at your lowest you realize that being alive is a blessing and the people who stayed by your side all this time are the only ones who should matter.

-

About five months had passed. I was in coma for four months. The last thing I remember was seeing a blinding light and my mom's hand stretched out to me. She had me sit with her as I ate [Favorite Dessert] with her. She patted my head lightly telling me I had done the right thing. That she...

Was proud of me.

And so during those months in coma I was able to spend time with my mom and settle some things. I settled my emotions and confessed many things to her.

"I was obsessed with wanting dad to look at me. I took out part of my anger on Midoriya and guess what mom?"

"Hm?" she smiled at me as she listened to me.

"That boy risked his life for me. He tried saving me and helped me take down All for One. I think maybe if he can forgive me I'd like to be friends with him. He's actually a nice, a little dorky at times but sweet boy. Shoto was right, Midoriya is a good person."

"I'm glad you're finally seeing that he wasn't at fault, all he wanted was to be a hero." She commented as I bit into my dessert with a smile. "Speaking of Shoto, you're not mad at him anymore?"

"I was never mad at Shoto... I was embarrassed to face him considering who I had become. Truth is, Shoto had always been my one and only friend. He stayed with me even when I didn't have a quirk. I hope he can forgive me..."

She combed my hair with her fingers as she stared and listened to me. "I know he will. Shoto cares a lot for you. More than you can imagine. He values your friendship with him over everything."

I smiled softly as I agreed with her.

"How do you feel about reuniting with Haru, my friend's son? You were so young when you last saw him." She stated, a faraway look in her eyes.

Thinking of Haru I couldn't help but feel nostalgia and warmth. "Having Haru in my life makes me happy, it reminds me of the time you were alive mom." I began to say, "He was there for me even when I was under AFO's influence. He helped me, he was always protecting me and making sure I didn't... kill anyone. I'm grateful for that, for him. Hopefully he too forgives me."

"I'm sure he will. He's always been a bright child with a kind heart. He adores you." She added with a bright grin. "It makes me glad that he was able to find you."

I smiled too.

We then went on a long stroll, we watched the sun begin to set. We sat on the soft grass and watched the beautiful sky before us. I placed my head on her lap. Her hand softly caressing my cheek as I talked about Tenko and Touya. My mom told me how she could see they genuinely cared for me.

"It wasn't always like that." I chuckled wryly. "Especially with Tenko, he was always closed off with his emotions. He was sort of a jerk at first."

"But when love comes to knock, people change."

"Yup." I giggled as she booped my nose. "So did Touya, they both were seeking for revenge but then all they wanted was to save me. They went against All for One and even sided with their worst enemies." I paused for a bit. "I hope one day they can heal the wounds on their souls. Tenko was hurt by society... rejected. Touya was neglected by his dad and felt replaced. In a way I think I know why our paths crossed ways."
