With brows furrowed, I entered Dad's company. Tumalima agad ang guard at receptionist ng makitang ako ang papasok.

And when I entered the doorway, everyone seems pause on their spots but move fast afterwards and welcomed me.

"Goodmorning po, Ms. Mhalia!" They greeted and bow.

"Yan na ba ang anak ni Boss?"
"Once in a blue moon lang siya bumisita pero glow up na."
"Sino siya? Model ba?"
"Anak ni bossing."
"Vic Sotto?"
"Tangek!"

Naglabas masok lang ang mga bulong nila sa tenga ko. What I'm thinking is my Dad hectic schedule! Nag-iisip ba siya?! Seryoso?!

"Hello po, Ms. Mhalia." Someone suddenly appeared beside me. "I'm Fara Santos, an Audit here in your family company and I'm here to tour you around if you want po."

Hindi ko siya pinansin at tuloy lang malalaki kong hakbang.

"Madame is in hurry, sorry." I heard Hermione says and followed me before the elevator closed.

"Why he can't just cancel it? D-mn it!" Gigil kong angil.

Hermione keep silent behind me.

Napatayo ang secretary ni Dad ng makita ako at agad ngumiti. "Hello po, Ma'am. How may I help you po?"

I looked at her up and down and face her seriously. She's vigorous and new in our building. Sa huling kita ko sa secretary ni Dad sa bahay ay may katandaan na ito.

"Where's dad?"

Ang ngiti nito ay naging alanganin. "Po? Eh ma'am, mawalang galang na ho, hehehe, hindi po to hanapan ng tao. Hindi po lost and found." She friendly reminded like I'm really an idiot and in a wrong d-mn place.

"Pinipilosopo mo ba ko?" I calmly said.

Calm down, Mhalia, bago lang siya rito.

Kita ko ang bahagya nitong pagnguso. "Ano pong pangalan nila para po madali nating mahanap papa niyo."

Talagang! D-mn sh-t!

Napapailing na lang ako at lumayas sa harapan niya at nagtungo sa glass door ni dad pero humarang ang secretary nito.

"Ma'am! Hindi po kayo pwedeng pumasok. Ano pong pangalan niyo? May appointment po ba kayo?"

"Leave."

"Pero Ma'am—"

"I'm the owner's daughter."

Kita ko ang pag-awang ng labi nito at panlalaki ng mata. Umalis ito sa pagkakaharang sa daan. "S-sorry po, Ma'am! Sorry po. Kayo po ba si Ms. Mhalia? Sorry po talaga! Baguhan lang po ako! Huwag niyo po sana akong tanggalin."

"Just memorize our families faces. Ako mapapalagpas ko, hindi ko nga lang alam sa iba." Saka ako pumasok.

Hermione stay outside. She'll take care of the newbie.

I creased my forehead when I saw my dear father busy signing those d-mn papers na ang sarap sunugin rin minsan. Kaasar!

"Can you just please rest for a d-mn minute." Inis kong turan.

Nag-angat ito ng tingin. He smiled a little. "Few papers to go and I'm done, Liona."

Halos magkasalubong na ang kilay ko sa inis.

"Darn it, Dad! You just came home from Cebu yesterday and here you are, working your ass out and your flying to Spain two days from now on! Don't wait me to burn those f-cking papers, dear father."
