The sun hadn't risen yet but there was already quite an activity inside the campus. Some were from the students who wanted to train early. Glynne was one of such student.
As the black-haired boy jogged along the lakeside, he could feel the cold morning breeze through his skin. It was quite a refreshing feeling, combined with the spectacular view of the of the lake and calming sound of nature, one can't possibly ask for a better place to jog.
After working up quite a sweat, Glynne decided to take a quick break as he approached a vending machine to get some warm drink before sitting on a nearby bench. As he enjoyed the view with his drink, another jogger approached him while wiping the sweat off her face.
"Excuse me, is this seat taken?" the jogger asked as Glynne glanced at her. She was a girl with a fit and slender body. She had a pair of blue eyes and bluish-gray hair tied in a low ponytail. She had quite a strict demeanor, though not as much as she seemed to be quite approachable. If Glynne was to accurately describe it, she felt like a person that many people couldn't help but rely on.
"No, feel free to sit down." Glynne said as he scooted over to make some space. After giving her thanks, she sat down as the fellow jogger also took a bit of a break.
"By the way, are you perhaps a new student here?" The bluish-gray-haired girl asked. She seemed she want to have a little chat to pass some time.
"Yes, in fact, I arrived here just yesterday." Glynne replied as he finished his drink. That said, he felt like a single can wasn't enough. He was tempted to get another. "Today is actually my first day of classes."
"Is that so?" The girl smiled while tucking her hair behind her ear. She did so to avoid her hair from sticking to her face but the act was quite charming especially when combined her beauty, even Glynne was enchanted a bit. "It's already remarkable enough to see you train your body early in the morning. But to do so a day after arriving, I wish the others would follow your example."
"It's nothing like that though." Glynne said while scratching the back of his head in embarrassment. "I just feel itchy after not moving for a while."
"Heh..." The girl seemed to have gained some interest in him as her eyes observed him.
It was hard to tell at first because of his loose T-shirt but upon closer inspection, his body was developed quite well. It was not something that one could get so easily, it required constant training every day.
"That reminds me, I have not introduced myself yet." The girl remarked. "My name is Fu Hua."
"Glynne Romero" the boy also introduced himself.
"Well then..." Fu Hua then stood up as the boy watched her. "I know this is a sudden Glynne, but will you accompany me for a jog?"
Glynne opened his eyes widely but soon showed a soft smile. "I don't see why not."
He soon stood up too as they both prepare for a bit before continuing with their jog. Along the way, they have some small chats with their topic mostly related to St. Freya Academy.

"Hey, have you heard? Apparently, we have a new transferee...""
"Ah, the one I saw with Ms. Himeko yesterday!"
"Saw him too! Don't you think he's kinda cute?"
"Now that I think about it, he seemed to be quite close with Ms. Himeko."
"Gasp! P-perhaps he's Ms. Himeko's secret love child."
"Geez, what are you talking about? Himeko isn't even married yet."
