Standing in the middle of a room with an equivalent size of two-basketball court side to side, Kiana breathed deeply before raising her handgun.

"Are you ready, Kiana?" Himeko's voice can be heard on the speakers as she asked if Kiana was done with her preparation. Seeing the white-haired girl nod her head, Himeko proceed to put her fingers on the device on her hand. "Then simulation will start in 3.... 2..."

Himeko's voice drowned as Kiana began to concentrate. Translucent creatures then begun to generate randomly all around her as she immediately start to shoot them down. As this being a contest of who can shot down targets the most within the given time, she chained her targets to wherever the nearest one by the one she shot down to save a lot of time readjusting.

"Oh..." Glynne was amused by the spectacle as he, along with the audience, watched Kiana on the monitor taking down the simulated targets one by one.

The Simulation room, it's an advance type of training equipment that's able to reproduce a creature for the Valkyries to fight. Depending on the user, it can create a creature with similar traits to a real one or create ones that can be defeated by a single shot. The latter was which currently in used.

Glynne glanced at the sub-screen besides the monitor as it displays the score accumulated by Kiana. The score was increasing in quite a fast pace as it was quite a surprise for him considering the type of handgun Kiana was using.

In this competition, both of them are required to use the handgun used for training to avoid having an advantage against the other. The problem though was that the gun was a type of energy weapon.

It's light with no recoil and have a wide effective range making it easy to use. It's perfectly suitable for newbies.

However, it has that disadvantage of being unable to do rapid fire, as it required a charge time between each shots. With this particular weapon, the fire rate was approximately 70-80 rounds per minute.

Glynne once again shifted his gaze back to Kiana. He closed his eyes as he concentrated on the rhythm between each shot. "I see... She's trying to maximize it huh."

"Are you feeling nervous, Glynne?" Himeko, who was beside him, noticed his action and asked him.

"Not really." Glynne answered while shaking his head. "Hmm... How do I say this? This much is expected from a Kaslana."

The Kaslana clan, even before the foundation of St Freya Academy, they were a clan prominent of producing powerful warriors.

That was why, Glynne's word had a sliver of truth but Himeko couldn't help but disagree with him. "That's where you're wrong, Glynne. I've been watching her since she enrolled here. What you see is the fruit of Kiana's perseverance and hard work."

Glynne widened his eyes, he can't help but scratched the back of his head as he looked away awkwardly. "I-is that so...?"

The sound of the alarm resounded as it signaled the end of the simulation. The door opened as Kiana walked out of the room while wiping the sweat away from her forehead. Mei and Bronya immediately approached her.

"Well done, Kiana."

"For someone with a muscle for brains, Kiana-idiotka did good job."

Mei and Bronya congratulated her as Kiana tilted her head in confusion. She then moved her gaze to the screen to see the numbers 683.

"Ah, it's a new record!" Kiana obviously can't hide her excitement as the audience immediately became noisy.

It's was quite understandable as Kiana had set a new record, not only personally, but also in the entire school. The prospects of Glynne ever beating her even became bleak as some couldn't help but groan because they have more or less lost their bets.
