"All in" Glynne muttered and pulled the trigger as a loud gunfire akin to that of a cannon resounded in the training field. There's no satisfying ping sound after the target was hit, rather the target was decimated into oblivion.
"Woah, that's quite powerful!" Kiana exclaimed as her eyes sparkled in amazement.
"Well, it is an Ultimate after all." Glynne commented.
Ultimate, it was one of the battlesuit's abilities that used a large amount of Honkai energy in order to deliver a devastating blow. It wasn't wrong to say that it was the battlesuit's trump card.
For Glynne battlesuit's Ultimate, [ALL IN], it gathers Honkai energy and used that said energy to fire a single round. It was as simple as that, but this was to be expected from an outdated battlesuit. However, the power was nothing to be scoff at.
"In any case, I don't think I'll be using it much." Glynne said as Kiana reflexively turned her head towards him.
"Eh? Why?!" Kiana asked in a surprised tone.
The usage of Ultimate in a fight has been the norm as one cannot dispute just how useful they were. Just one single use of it could easily turn in the favor towards yourself. So when Kiana heard that Glynne was refraining from using his Ultimate, she obviously couldn't help but be confused.
"Well, it isn't good for my shoulders." Glynne said while rotating his shoulders as he tried to loosen it.
For every action there was an equal and opposite reaction. In this case, the powerful shot obviously had an equally powerful recoil. The battlesuit somewhat softened the blow but Glynne still felt a good portion of it.
"Ah well, I guess that is a problem..." Kiana muttered as she nodded her head in agreement.
"Not only that, look at this too." Glynne said and handed her the rifle he used. Kiana tilted her head before shifting her gaze on the rifle.
"Huh?!" Kiana was surprised as with only just one glance, she could obviously tell that the sniper rifle on her hands was on the verge of falling apart. "How did this happen?"
"Seems like it couldn't handle the power." Glynne guessed while shrugging his shoulders. "... Honestly, I think it's better to think of this as something like a last resort or something."
"... But, isn't it the solution quite a simple one?" Kiana commented after thinking for a bit. "You just need to get a better weapon."
"Ah, now that you mention it. There's that, huh... " Glynne muttered as he scratched the back of his head. Seemed like he didn't consider the thought of changing weapons.
The weapon he was using at the moment was a standard sniper rifle issued by the school. It has a good overall balance, most likely designed with the trainees in mind. Obviously, there was nothing wrong with it so Glynne continued to use it but now that he has his battlesuit, he needed a better weapon.
"I guess it's about time to get my own personal gear." Glynne declared while standing up.
"Oh, can I come with you?" Kiana asked as Glynne noticed the look of excitement in her face. Seeing this, the black-haired boy couldn't help but chuckle.
"Well, why not?" Glynne said while shrugging his shoulders. "I'm actually thinking that we could use a break from training too."
"Then let's go before you change your mind!"
"Ah, wait...." Perhaps due to excitement, Kiana immediately ran off leaving Glynne quite dumbfounded.
The boy couldn't help but scratch the back of his head while glancing at the training equipment by his side. He has no other choice but to quickly clean up in order to catch up with Kiana.
