My first day as CEO of Castillo Corp being the day after my birthday ball is probably not the smartest decision I've made.
I don't remember what time I went to sleep last night– well technically this morning but all I know is that I stayed up really late.
All I remember is that I fell asleep on Dominic's shoulder in the limo after the mini after party was over. Then one of my cousins, Emmanuel or Sebastian, carried me to my room. I don't know which twin it was because they both look alike when I'm drunk and half asleep.
Luckily before we left the small after party, Cora, being the mom of the group– literally since she's a mom herself– she came to the venue hours before it started to get decorated and brought tons of clothes for all of us to change into before we left to the limos to go back home to the mansion.
Because there was no way in hell that any of us would be driving back.
Which brings me to now.
Calla is currently trying to drag me out of my bed because we're almost running late. Since she decided she wanted to work on the business side of the Castillo Mafia, she'll be working under me for the next few days until flies back to Florida.
"Alessandra! Come on!" She pulls off the blanket covering me. "Wake up!"
"Calla, I love you but go away. Let me sleep." I groan and cover my face with a pillow while folding it to cover my ears as well.
"Alright, so be it. I'm gonna go get Aunt Serenity."
Oh fuck no.
"I'm up." I say, immediately getting out of bed and standing up. Which was a bad move on my part because I'm now seeing dots and I feel somewhat dizzy.
"That's what I thought," Calla shoots me an innocent smile. "I'll be waiting downstairs."
In a way I kind of applaud her because we're all scared of our mamá's in some way. We love them, obviously, but when they all team up together, all of us children run the other direction. Hell even the husbands will be running with us . . . but probably screaming and shitting their pants.
