Looking at the camera in front of me, I stand in the middle of the four charity directors next to Ceaser as we smile for the picture. I've just finished announcing the amount each charity has and will receive after tonight.
They have received a lot of money which is always good news for them and us because it means we did our job correctly.
After the photographer gives us the okay that he has gotten the perfect picture, I go down the line, shaking their hands once more and Ceaser does the same before they excuse themselves.
Feeling Ceaser's presence behind me, he wraps his arms around me my waist and I lay my head against his chest. "It feels weirdly refreshing to have done that. Announcing the donation amount, handing the checks, taking the picture with them, and shaking their hands. Even though I've done it a few times before . . . this was my first time doing it as my mafia's leader."
