"Bestie!" I announce my arrival after my mama opens the door and my papá helps me step through the front door. "I am alive and well!" "And extremely hyper for some reason," papá mumbles beside me. I silently chuckle at my papá's comment.
He does have a point about me being hyper because I'm never like this unless I go on missions with Alessandra.
Speaking of, it seems that she and Ceaser have gone public now because they're currently sitting really close to each other on the couch. Though I don't know if they are officially together but at this point they are practically married.
"Oh my God! Asteria!" Alessandra says, standing up from her spot on the couch, walking around it and heading towards me before she hugs me. "I'm so happy you're okay. I've missed you."
"I've missed you too, you devilish woman," my voice drops after calling her nickname. "You know this is the first time seeing each other and hugging again."
