"No way," Sienna says, crossing her arms as she glances at Alessandra and I. My wife and I exchange looks, smiling. "No. Fucking. Way." This time she raises her voice higher as a smile takes over her face. "Oh my God! Congratulations!"
Alessandra is the first to get hugged by my sister. Sienna is the first person who we have told so far, making her the fourth person to know that Alessandra and I are expecting a baby.
We were planning on keeping this a secret for a few more days until we figured out a way to surprise our family but of course Sienna just had to be walking past the medic hallway as Alessandra and I came out of it.
"Are you not going to congratulate your brother too for making you an aunt in a few months? After all, I am the one who put that baby inside her," I jokingly say.
"Stop," Sienna holds her hand up. "I don't need to know the details on how you got her pregnant. But still, congratulations Ceaser." She lets go of Alessandra and comes to hug me next. "Have you told anyone else yet?"
"Well, you're the first person after getting an ultrasound performed on me. Other than that, only Abuela Estrella, Sebastian and Asteria know of this."
"Hm, alright. And you Ceaser?" Sienna turns her attention towards me. "Have you told mamá or papá?"
"Not yet but I'm planning to do it soon. Until then, do you think you can keep this quiet?"
"Yeah, of course. You don't have to worry about that."
"Worry about what?" Riccardo's voice asks, making us turn in the direction it came from. "Hello love birds! Don't you two look . . . lovely today."
'I'm going to go,' Sienna mouths at Alessandra and I before squeezing her way past Riccardo and leaving the hall.
"So, what are you two doing in the medic hallway?"
