As I'm laying on my side with Ceaser pressed behind me with his arm wrapped around my waist and a single gray blanket covering us, I begin to wake up, almost feeling something off.

I open my eyes and scan the room until my eyes fall on a small shadow imitating a silhouette of someone. I almost jump out of bed and reach in the nightstand to grab the gun stashed away inside that Ceaser told me about last night before we fell asleep. Luckily whoever it was revealed themselves before I went any further.

"Asteria! What the fuck!" I whisper-yelled, not wanting to wake Ceaser up. "Go wait for me in the living room," I add, not giving her a chance to say something. Asteria doesn't fight, slouches her shoulders as she turns her heel and leaves the room.

I slowly get out of bed, removing Ceaser's arm from me and walk around the room, trying to find something acceptable to wear because I don't have clothes here. Other than the dress I wore last night but I don't want to wear that right now.

Clipping on the pink lace bra I picked up from the floor, I spot Ceaser's white collared shirt on the floor and opt to wear it over what I have on underneath. Though before I put it on, I pull up the matching lace panties then throw on Ceaser's shirt. Probably not presentable but it's only Asteria who'll be seeing me dressed like this other than Ceaser. As I brush my fingers through my hair, detangling its knots, I walk towards the side Ceaser is laying on and softly kiss his cheek before leaving the room and closing the door behind me.

When I reach the living room, I see Asteria standing in the corner, arms crossed and still wearing the dress she wore last night. I didn't even notice she was still wearing last night's dress until now, a few minutes ago I was still half asleep.

Which could only mean one thing.

She seems to know what I'm about to say next seeing I'm smirking and as I get ready to say something she stops me. "Don't," Asteria says, holding her finger up. "Don't say anything." I snort, crossing my arms, sinking down on a nearby couch.
