I was able to sleep through the night without waking up. I guess Asteria was right after all. The reason why I woke up so early yesterday morning and couldn't go back to sleep was because I hadn't told Ceaser what I have been wanting to tell him for so long but couldn't for some reason so it was eating me up inside. It was a strange feeling after I finally told him that I was able to breathe freely again– like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders and I could carry on with my life.

Of course there's no way I can just simply forget what happened to me but what I want to do is put it past me and not think about it at all.

And now . . . I have a date with a certain Italian to look forward to. But before he does take me anywhere, I want to go do something with him that will be important for him and I. A few days after I was told about the miscarriage I had and Sebastian gave me an idea about what would be a good tattoo idea, I got to work on sketching what came to my head about three birds flying around a heart. I'm no artist but I did try my best to draw out what I had in mind before I drove to Dario's tattoo studio and gave him the piece of paper with the idea. I asked him to replicate it when he had free time along with adding a few details where he thought they were needed.

Last week he sent me pictures of a few drawings he sketched out– a total of three to be exact– and asked which I liked the best so he could try to fit Ceaser and I in today. While I wait for Ceaser to wake up, I continue scrolling through the three pictures that Dario sent me.

They're all so similar but so very different.

We have to be there at noon on the dot so he can be finished with both tattoos by the time his next client walks into his studio.

Moments later I feel Ceaser move against me, causing my lips to lift into a smile and drop my phone on the mattress to focus on him. "Look who's finally awake," I say, turning over on my other side so I can face him. "Usually it's the other way around. You wake up before I do."
