As I stepped into my papá's office, I noticed he's talking with someone on the phone so I knocked twice on a counter nearby once I was inside. When I was making my way to the kitchen this morning to eat breakfast, he asked me to meet him in his office afterwards since he needed to talk to me about something.
Even though my papá knows that I don't ever have a lot of patience, he still decides to be on the phone with someone. But in the end, it's alright because I do the same with him when I need to talk to him about something as well. So it's even between us.
"Alright, Elijah, I will talk to you soon because my son has just got here in my office and the look he's currently giving me tells me that he's ready to bite my head off." I roll my eyes at his comment.
The next thing I hear is a faint 'like father like son' coming from Elijah on the other end of the phone call. Elijah, or Elijah Castillo is the current leader of the Castillo Mafia. He and my papá have been friends and allies since before I was born. Apparently I first met him when I was around two or three years old yet I have no memory of it.
The only memory I remember of meeting him again was when I was five. I also met Serenity, Elijah's wife– well she wasn't his wife at the time but they weren't together either so– actually nevermind about that. Too difficult to even understand or explain their relationship.
At that age, I also met their daughter . . . Alessandra Castillo, Elijah's heiress and also known as the ruthless assassin Deviless. I've heard hundreds of stories about her from the underworld on how she is able to succeed in her missions. The main saying goes, 'beautiful like her mother . . . ruthless like her father'. It makes sense though. She gets her beautiful looks from her mother, Serenity and her ruthless side from her father, Elijah.
