((You're going to have fun.))
He strode through the streets, purposeful and proud as he searched for the shop he often met friends and acquaintances.
He found it and slipped inside, leaning against the counter as he regarded the barista with a newfound admiration. She nodded to him, quickly brewing his usual order as he waited.
He thanked her and paid quietly, turning away before she could ask about his new scars.
He didn't have the time, Razz had arrived, the two spotting each other and nodding, before he marched forward.
"There's no time, we need to talk in private."
"Whatever for?"
"I'll tell you."
"Tell me now, Black. I don't appreciate those scars. Who did this to you?"
"I fought something, of course. But that isn't important."
"It is to me! Who dared attack you?"
"Fine! This is a matter of Revenge. Will you come now?"Razz studied him, no doubt seeing some change in him before he scoffed.
"Fine. I will come. It is clearly very important. I can help you exact the sweetest revenge."Black sighed, opening a portal. "Oh Razz." He couldn't help but purr as they headed through.
"This is for you."
"Excuse me?"But it was already too late. They had gone through, and the broken Universe locked itself down, the familiar figure floating down the steps in front of them.
"What is the meaning of this? Black? Who is this, and why is he floating like that?" Razz demanded, suspecting foul play.
Black smirked to himself. "Oh, him? That is technically Classic himself."
"Technically?"
"He's possessed."Razz didn't hesitate to whip out a sharp bone attack, but Destiny spoke.
"There is no need for that. I mean you no harm."
The red bandana wearing one hesitated, not daring to reveal that his nerves were on edge.
"What are you? And what are your real intentions? Do not lie to me, I am not afraid to carve into you.""Whoa. Razz, relax. Let's be civil about this, alright? Destiny is here to help us." Outer stepped off of the porch and approached, hands in his pockets. "There's some things you need to know. So come in, we're all peaceful here- well, actually.. I guess I'm the only peaceful one here. Heh."
Both swaps crossed their arms.
"I can be perfectly peaceful when I want to."
"Now is not the time to be spewing puns, Outer!"
"What?"Razz glanced at Black in confusion, before Outer grinned.
"Oh, you wouldn't want Classic awake for long at all."
"No…"
"Yes. He's-"
"He cannot be!"
"Oh but he is-"
"It's not true!"
"He is-"
"Don't say it!"
"The Punmaster!"
"No! Damn you, Outer!"He chuckled, turning away lazily as Razz gawked in disbelief and disgust. Then Destiny peered after him, still somewhat facing the other two as Epic teleported in a few feet away.
"You know that because he is so known for his puns, many of you were destined to be very much the same."
Black gasped in horror as Epic erupted in an explosive "YES!", throwing his hands in the air as Outer cheered.
Razz just groaned as he recalled what the being was introduced as.
"You are clearly putting this spirit in with the worst possible influences.". • ° . • °
"And I can be Revenge? As in a living personification of it?"
"Yes."
"...How intriguing." Razz set his drink down on the table, thoughtful. Black sat to his side in the seat over, sipping his coffee as Outer sat half asleep across from him. Eve was just standing across from the newcomer, Destiny next to her as they both awaited his reply."He is awake." Destiny murmured with an odd shift in her voice.
The others regarded her curiously.
"Classic, you mean?" Black asked, peering at her. "How long?"
"Recently."
