His dark jeans clung loosely to his legs, those legs that went on endlessly. His face held the same cold expression whilst he kept looking at me. The kind of look I'd been given sent my fears up and made my stomach clench, I felt like he was judging me in some way. I couldn't let myself reduce to a puddle of tears on the floor, I had to be strong, or at least give it off.

His stare turned into an intent glare when I didn't make a move or showed interest in coming with him. My body just seemed to freeze, my breath going heavy as if about to have an anxiety attack. Just by the looks of it, I could guarantee he wasn't the man from school. His appearance seemed so different, his slightly naughty clothes and tattoos so different to the ones he was wearing the other day. And his smile, I couldn't believe how hard I had been pranked.

"Is that where you say gotcha?" I spoke bitterly, finally returning his glare.

That guy didn't scare me as much as Harry did, maybe I should've been more frightened by him, maybe I should've considered my words before spitting them out. Although one thing I was sure of, first impression's hard to change. When your brain associates with stuff, there's no going back. Sadly, I was 100 percent sure Liam was a nice, friendly guy and not some intimidating psycho who's friends with a serial killer and apparently even cooperates with his brutal acts.

"What do you mean for Christ's sake?" He furrowed his eyebrows at me and I cringed at his annoyed tone.

"You've lied to me."

Everyone was looking at us as if we were in some super interesting TV show, I hated that. Being the centre of everyone's attention makes me want to run and curl into a shell, even though I was well accustomed to it.

Liam's (if he was even called Liam) face was pale, his jaw clenched tight and his shoulders thrown back. I uncomfortably squirmed at the look on his face but still kept my sassy aura on.

"Gwen." He grunted, shoving his hands down into his pockets. "I'd love to discuss everything, but I think we'd better go somewhere more.. Private. Unless you wanna be an entertainment show, then off you go."

I scoffed but nodded nonetheless, giving him my OK. He led me through the incredibly big place as I took in the huge space. Everything was decorated and sleek, the use of wood was prominent. However, the lack of windows in the building sent a slight sense of claustrophobia through my body. I tried to hold my suffocation and uneasiness back for the sake of my sanity.

We continued to play a low spirited version of follow the leader just as the doors to the lift pinged open. Hoping with all my heart that he won't jam it and force me into talking to him, I stepped into the lift after him.

I let out a sigh as the doors went open and reluctantly followed behind him until we reached a door which he opened and strolled in.

The room had a huge HD telly in it, with no trace of any games console though. The orange lamp on the side gave a warmer feeling to the windowless room and the white sofas adorned the void before the telly. It looked normal, I didn't really know what I was expecting, something scary I guess, but it wasn't.

Casually walking inside, Liam plopped down on the tidy sofa.

"Feel free to have a seat." He spoke expectantly, gesturing towards the space beside him.

I rolled my eyes at him and dragged my legs a bit further into the room, leaning my back against the wall but making sure I could reach the door and escape if needed.
