I'd like to apologise to you guys for not updating for like... a month. I was going through a rough patch in my life and couldn't be that active and post chapters. Don't worry though, shit happens and it's all sorted out now. I really hope people haven't given up on this story, i'm sorry if you used to read my book and i've let you down, I truly am. However, i'd like to assure you my passion for writing is still here and isn't going anywhere anytime soon. So thank you if you stuck by me through this downhill, love you to the moon and back

Autumn was in the air. The leaves on all the trees were turning different shades of reds, yellows, oranges and browns. The sun sent beams everywhere from up above, casting a light shadow over the right side of Louis face. He shot me a mischievous smile before leaping into a pile of golden leaves, which were scattered round an oak tree.
"Hey Gwennie, let's play hide and seek. You count to ten and i'll hide!" He said, I took up on his offer and shut my eyes, covering them with my palms to make it fair.
"1!"
"2!"
"3!"
"4!"
"5!"
"6!"
"7!"
"8!"
"9!"
"10!"
I scanned the area around me intensely, looking for a messy mop of brownish hair. I went over to a large stone which seemed to draw my attention. Tucking my navy blue dress behind me I bent down, he wasn't there. He wasn't behind the oak tree either. I checked the swings, carousel, slide, Louis was nowhere to be found.
"Boobear it ain't funny! Where are you?" I called helplessly. My ears perked up when a light giggle was heard. A set of hands pressed to my eyes and a small smile tugged on my face.
"Guess who." He whispered in a fake female voice.
"Errm.. Maybe mum?" I decided to play along with him. Even though I was the younger one, Louis had always been more childish whereas I was more mature and responsible. At times he'd play the role model in my life since I never had another siblings to learn from. I loved him to pieces.
"How did you know?" He replied sarcastically, taking his hands off myself whilst laughing.
"Lucky guess, it's my turn to hide now!" I beamed. He shut his eyes as I hurriedly looked around, before deciding on a huge tree behind the red slide. I hid my body behind it, sticking my head forward and clutching my hands as close as possible to my tiny body.
"Bing bing here I come!" Louis hollowed. I had to hold back a giggle at his determined tone.Before I could process, another loud BING BING was heard and Louis' slim arms were around me in triumph.
My face turned into a fake frown as I asked "how did you find me?" He shrugged, a small smile tugging at his lips. "I'll always find you, little sis." I let out an awww at his super brotherly sentence, flashing him a smirk before taking off into a sprint.
"Let's see if you can catch me!"
His face held determination as he broke off after me, yelling "oh I will!
Giggles filled the air between us, as both of us were up to a great challenge. Suddenly, the sky bellowed and loud thunders were heard. Soon droplets of rain poured upon us, it was time to call the game off and go home. We decided on a truce and headed home together, hands entwined and clothes drenched. Louis was a great friend, like a brother. The sense of protection never failed to arrive when he was around. His lighthearted, loveable disposition always made one smile. I was thankful to have Louis.
