Equestrianism: a very common national sport in which a person and a horse do something in harmony; sync. Such a huge, impressive and dignified animal like a horse listens and follows every order its rider asks, because of the most important thing in the ride - honour. As long as you respect the horse's needs (food, groom, muck out its manure and give it attention) then when your horse is healthy, trust me, it'll be worth it.
When the Tomlinsons bought me a horse for my sixteenth birthday, I refused right away, saying it was too big of a present considering I wasn't even a family member (even though they treated me like one). Anyway, we compromised that the horse would be partly mine and partly theirs, so they could ride it whenever they want.
I was happy to bits. His name was Absolute and his fur was beautiful shades of black with dark brown splattered over his back. Whenever I'd try to mount his back, Louis (the Tomlinson's son) had to give me a push since Absolute was rather huge.
His gallop was the most incredible feeling on earth.
Okay let's save the fantasies for later on, now I should find something to get changed to. Standing naked in front of my wardrobe was definitely no fun, though Gemma had stressed me out with her mysterious guests; I wasn't sure whether I should just wear my riding trousers or jeans, which was way less comfortable but possible to handle. And a shirt.. I really hoped those people weren't anything of importance.
I grabbed the black skinny trousers and slid them up my legs, my body's need of warmth making the decision for me. I swiftly opened drawers until I came across a casual white shirt which seemed to fit my horsy outfit. The shirt was swung over my head and hands pushed into its sleeves as I hurriedly pulled out my pink jumper and coat. I engulfed myself with the warm clothes, placing both my legs into the riding boots.
My eyes caught the bag I had arranged beforehand. I instantly rushed over and grabbed it, mentally thanking my eyes for reminding me. I jumped towards the small desk and pressed 'answer call' as the ringtone of marimba rang out of the small device of my phone loudly.
"Hello?" I breathed into the phone.
"Hi, thought I'd swing by and pick you up on my way." Gemma's cheerful tone was heard and a relieved smile painted my lips. I was just saved a walk in the snow.
"Thanks Gem, owe ya."

Gemma and I hopped out of the silver vehicle. Even though last time I'd felt so intrigued something evil took place, I still couldn't help my curiosity as to who was joining us. My long hair blew in my face as the wind stroked by, hands instinctively reaching up to push it away.
'Curiosity killed the cat' a faint voice chastised me, sending a cold shudder down my body.
I raised my wrist and grinned lightly as a small band was wrapped round it, my saviour. I pulled it off and tied my hair up in a ponytail as we made our way towards the equestrian venue, our legs crashing with the snow making small squashes.
The sun was hidden between two clouds causing a shadow to hover above the ground. The glimpses of rays that had managed to slip out shone over the snow like small diamonds. How I wanted to touch it. Though it was an illusion, all I'd get would be wet gloves.
All of a sudden someone's arms wrapped round me in a bone crushing hug, causing me to jolt out of my skin. From the strands of blonde hair and the height I guessed it to be Lottie and returned her friendly gesture, letting my face twitch up in a smile.
"Gwen! It's been ages since we last went horse riding together!" She claimed indulgently and I couldn't help but agree. Every time I came for a ride, she'd be out with her friends or doing some homework and every time she went riding, I couldn't make it. It was like the world had been against us.
