The evening, June was beyond nervous for her outing with Kellon. His car pulling up to her house gave her immense anxiety.

Walking out to meet him, she smiled when he pecked her lips, lightly biting on her lower lip as they broke away.

"Sure yu waa wear dat?"

June looked down at her outfit.

"Yea, wa wrong wid it?"

"I said casual," Kellon said, squeezing her buttcheek. "We a go waa sip-and-paint."

"Oh," June ran back inside the house to dress in an outfit as casual as his: a plain white shirt and denim jeans.

Satisfied, she entered his car. Her guilt ate at her when he placed a hand on her thigh. She planned on telling him about Zach today. . . at the end of the day, no matter what happened. She felt as if she was being a fraud towards a person who greatly admired her. It was time to right her wrong.

She interlocked their fingers, returning his smile when he smiled at her. "How's Leilani?" she asked.

Kellon sighed. "She good. . . Just the usual foolishness with Mother."

June frowned, hating that she couldn't help Leilani. Would Deidre disown her own daughter if she ever found out she was bisexual? June's heart ached. . . Leilani deserved happiness with Ashanti, she believed.

June and Kellon arrived at the sip-and-paint event a few minutes later. They held hands and walked into the event, slowly getting packed by other couples. Then everybody come out fi Valentines eeh.

"Who tell yu seh me can draw or paint?" June joked as she took a seat.

"Hear ya," Kellon laughed. "Nuh you a nail tech, yu must can do waa likkle sum."

June grinned. "A little."

Minutes later, the event began and June and Kellon got engrossed in their own talents. June felt nervous - Kellon occasionally kept staring at her. When time was up, she nearly teared up at his reason why. Kellon had done an animated portrait of her.

"I-" she was at a lost of words, too mesmerized by the painting.

"Like it?"

"Mi love it!" she smiled when he grinned. She looked over to her own painting, sighing. "I did a stupid bear," she frowned when Kellon laughed. "Listen ano everybody a big artist like you."

"It's a nice bear. . . lopsided, but it can gwan."

"Gweh! Mi nuh used to drawing things this big. Kellon smirked, June groaned. "Behave," she scolded as he pulled her beneath his arms, leading them out of the building.
