Jay had returned a little after Heeseung had left, stating that it had been quite a good meeting. We had gotten comfortable on the couch and he told me everything about it. I was quite happy for him and finally revealed the little surprise I got with Heeseung today. "Got something for you to celebrate", I said and presented the snacks to him. His eyes grew big. "Hey, if anyone deserves a gift today, it's you", he protested and got up. I looked after him confused as he walked to his bag and threw me something. Dropping his snacks, I caught it in time and inspected it. My favourite jelly. I laughed. "That's why – despite all bickering – we work well together still", I announced. "What do you say? Movie night?", Jay suggested while getting something to drink and bowls for our snacks from the kitchen. "Deal", I grinned.

I woke up because of Jay's phone ringing. Grumbling, I rolled out of my bed and walked over into his room. I checked the caller and decided to pick up myself. "Hmm?", I grumbled into the phone. "Jay? Good thing I reach you, I'm sorry to wake you up but this is important-" "Not Jay", I interrupted him. "Katy?", Heeseung asked in disbelief. I nodded until I realized that he couldn't see me. "Jay is not yet awake", I mumbled sleepily and rubbed my eyes. "Oh, I'm sorry to wake you up then and also sorry for confusing you two but...", he trailed off and I smiled softly. "All good, I know my voice is quite deep in the morning. Anyway, what do you need?", I replied. "I must have lost my wallet in Jay's car. Or in your apartment or so. But I really need it today so could you please tell him to bring it to my university?" "Will do", I promised. "Thanks", he sighed relieved. "Don't mention it. And don't worry. I know where it is", I reassured him. "Oh perfect!", he sighed relieved. "Well, then, have a good day. I'll try to wake Jay up now", I said. "Good luck. And a good day to you as well", he answered before we hung up.

"Jay", I muttered, still sleepy, "Jay, I know you're awake, don't make me go and get a bucket of water again. You know I'll do it." I sighed as he still didn't move. "You don't even have to search, I found the wallet yesterday, but I wasn't sure who it belonged to." Silence. "You really want a shower, don't you?", I threatened. It was obvious he was awake. Or something similar to it. His eyelids were flickering whenever I addressed the forced shower, I once gave him to make sure he was on time for his exam. His hair hadn't been fully dry, but he had been on time.

"Same university as mine", he suddenly grumbled as I was about to get the water. "What?", I asked confused. "You know where mine is, right? Second floor, down the hallway on the left, all the way to the last room. Car keys are wherever you put them yesterday." I couldn't believe it. "Jay, get your ass up and bring your cousin his wallet right now!", I scolded him. "Why?", he gave back, "You're up AND out of your bed already. Plus, the two of you have a crush on each other, a very serious one too, so I am doing you a favour. And don't forget that I am badly injured and don't have to go to university before 2pm today. Don't you always say that sleeping is the best medicine? Three good reasons for you to go." He didn't even open his eyes while talking. I stared at him in disbelief and with mouth wide open. "Jay Park, I demand you to get up now and –" "Nope." The audacity.

"So? Have you found your wallet?", Annie asked as she arrived about ten minutes later. I had texted her, just in case it somehow landed at her place. I nodded. "Jay will bring it over", I said. "Jay? Why not Katy?", she grinned teasingly. I blushed. "No, Jay. He knows where to go. You won't believe how stubborn Katy is. And she sounded like she wanted to go sleeping again so I guess she will force Jay to come, no matter what it takes", I shrugged. "But wouldn't it be so sweet if she comes? You could finally ask her out. Or at least suggest making up for waking her by buying her a coffee or something", she went on and nudged me. I waved it off. "Heeseung, I mean it!", she repeated in her scolding tone, "Plus, I also want to finally meet her. Geez, Heeseung, that could be a great chance."

"I don't know", I confessed, earning a confused look from Annie. "Huh? Why?", she asked. I shrugged: "As enchanting as she is, as nervous as she makes me – obviously, but I mean in quite a different way. Especially her eyes. They are so intelligent, vivid, curious and well, beautiful. I don't know... You see, whenever she looks at me, I have the feeling she's staring right into my soul, exposing all of me. I feel so terribly vulnerable around her. But at the same time comfortable as well. I just know she would never intentionally hurt me, blame me or tell those little unspoken secrets she sees in me to anyone. I can trust her. I just don't like the effect she has on me when at the same time I crave it. It's weird." "It's love", Annie corrected me. I waved it off and she chuckled. "However", she went on, "She truly sounds like an amazing woman. And I think she's standing over there, so excuse me; I'll find you again later."

I jolted around, seeing Annie strolling away in the corner of my eye. But that got drowned out as my eyes found Katy indeed. She was looking around like she was searching for something – someone. And even though she didn't exactly stand out with bright clothes, tall figure or remarkable hairstyle, she was all I focused on immediately. I would spot her anywhere. And right that moment her eyes found me and she smiled. Simply, warm, yet my heart started to race as she approached me. I wanted to run away and wanted to run to her at the same time. Wanted to hide and wanted to feel her near me, her hand in mine, her head against my shoulder, her body in my arms, her lips against mine. I couldn't steady my thoughts as she already stood in front of me. "Hi", she said softly. "Hi", I gave back, smiling shyly.
