I woke up with a smile, I was looking forward to spending the day with Flo. I took a shower and texted Carly that I was picking up Dodger later in the day. She texted back no problem the kids where loving having him around.  I got dressed and checked myself in the mirror. Why was I so nervous, I grabbed my NASA cap, sunglasses, phone and keys and got in my truck and drove to Flo's house.

I knocked on the door and heard Ollie and George barking. It went quiet and the door opened.

"Hai," she said smiling stepping aside to let me in. "Want some coffee first? I just made some." She said smiling.

"Sure, sounds good" I said smiling she walked in front of me to the kitchen. "Wow you really did a nice job with the house." I said looking around.

"Thanks." She said smiling.

I looked at the dogs sitting waiting patiently for what's to come.

"Ollie, George come say hi." Flo said when she saw i was looking at them.

I shook my head smiling when they came running up to me. I crouched down greeting them.

"I would never get Dodger to wait until I gave him permission to greet someone. I said chuckling.

She smiled. "Nothing wrong with that." She said giving me a cup of coffee.

"Can I ask you something?" She said blushing looking at the cup of coffee in her hand.

"Of course... no need to ask.... I said smiling and curious.

"Can you go out without getting bothered all the time?" She said still looking down.

I sighed. "Here in Boston... it is easier in LA it's not possible...." I said looking at her but she didn't look back. "Why you are worried about it?" I asked nervously.

She sighed still looking down at her feet. I walked over and put my arms around her pulling her close.

"You can tell me.... I don't get annoyed or angry...I said putting my finger under her chin making her look at me.

"I am not worried or ashamed about getting photographed with you..." She said blushing her big green eyes staring at me.

I let out a sigh of relief. For a moment i was scared that my work life was going to mess up my private life.

"It's just when I was still in Texas, I had one date my ex found out and wouldn't stop calling and he even showed up at my work. Not saying he would do that now, but I just hate for you to have to deal with my past and having it influence your career...." She said looking sad.... and a hint of fear came through.

"Sweetheart don't worry about that we will deal with it if that happens okay." I leaned down and gave her a small peck on her lips. "Don't worry sweetheart I got you."

She wrapped her arms around me and let out a sigh. I hate that she felt like this, that she had to overthink everything because of what this guy might do.

"Okay." I said giving her a kiss on the forehead "let's get you some office furniture...."

She smiled and grabbed her stuff kissed the dogs on the head telling them to behave and we walked to the car. I opened the car door for her and helped her in. I got in myself and turned to her.  "Where to?" I asked.

"There is this little wood shop..." She said smiling and gave me the address.

We took off and when we arrived, I walked around the car helping her out. I grabbed her hand and laced her fingers with mine. Normally I wouldn't be like this in public but every chance to feel her skin on mine I didn't want to miss out on.
