We are filming the most important scene of the movie this could make or break it. I am talking it through with my co start giving her some pointers and just overall discussing with her and the crew how we are going to handle it. All of a sudden i see my assistant waving for my attention holding up my phone, i excuse myself and walk over.

"Your security is on the line..." He says giving me the phone and anxiety rises in my chest. "Evans..." I say answering the phone. "Mr. Evans? Harry here... I will start by saying everyone is fine a little shook up but fine. There was a break in in the house and..." But i cut him off. "Are Flo and Oscar, okay?" I ask even though he just said they were. "They are fine we are waiting for the police..." He says and i let out a little sigh of relief that they are at least okay. "I am on my way..." I say ending the call. I tell the crew i have to go due to an emergency and that we continue filming tomorrow.

I race home and i see cop cars everywhere. I rush past everyone inside where Flo is sitting on the couch holding Oscar tight. She has been crying and a paramedic is talking to her. She sees me and i can see her visibly relax. I sit down beside her pulling her and Oscar into my arms.

"What happened..." I say looking up at our security the cop and the paramedic. "Someone broke in, your wife caught them in the nursery...." They tell me. "She wanted to take Oscar..." Flo whispers "She did something to the dogs...." Flo says fighting her tears. My eyes grow wide.

"Who wanted to take Oscar..." I say my heart racing. "Where are the dogs?"  I ask looking around hoping to find them in the chaos. "That woman from the audition... I dont know her name anymore..."  Flo starts crying. I look up at the man standing around us. "Do you know who she means." An officer asks me.  I nod. "Yes Kayla... something.... i dont know her last name but i can look it up. My team definitely has her name..." I say letting out a sigh.

"It's okay..." Another man says walking in. "We can contact your team...."  The man introduces himself as detective Brooks. "We are still out looking for her, your security team has provided us with the security camera footage. What we know so far is that she has disabled the alarm and made entry through the back sliding door, where she drugged the dogs...." The detective says.

"What!?" I say shocked. "Are they okay?" I ask feeling myself get a little numb not knowing what to feel or think. "A K9 officer has transported them to a vet clinic to have them checked out, they were out like a light...." The cop says.

"I am sorry..." Flo whispered.  "I only heard her when she started talking to Oscar in his room trough the baby monitor...." She says sobbing the guilt emanant on her face. "It's not your fault baby...." I reassure her. "Mrs. Evans i really have to check out you and your son, your husband is now here do you mind if i just check you over really quick?" The paramedic asks. Flo nodded and hands over Oscar.

"Mrs. Evans is that your blood...." He says pointing at Flo's stomach where a red spot appeared previously hidden by Oscars little body. "I guess so..." She whispers. "I checked Oscar he has no wounds..." My heart sinks as i look at the bloodstain. "Please check out Oscar first..." She whispers.

The paramedic does this and hands him to me telling me he is fine. I stand up with him in my arms as the detective waves me over. "I'll be right back baby..." I say kissing the top of her head and she nods as the paramedic starts to check her out and just before i leave i see a red slash over her stomach. "I'll be fine it's just a cut..." She says looking at me.  I nod and walk towards the detective. "Can someone please explain what happened... The full story this time..." I say looking at the detective and Harry our security guy. Trying my absolute best to contain my anger.

"We got a call this morning from Flo that someone had broken in and was in the nursery..." Harry starts to tell. "When we came here the intruder was gone.... Flo was hiding in the closet with Oscar. She told me she had woken up to the sound of the monitor seeing a woman standing over the crib lifting Oscar out of it... She called us and then ran towards the nursery where she and the intruder wrestled, and Flo managed to get Oscar away from the intruder and she was able to hide.... We called you and the police and here we are...." He said and i started to grasp how serious the situation had been and how close i had become to losing Flo and or Oscar. "Do you have any idea why this woman would do this...?" The detective asked. I explain what happened during the audition and that i had told her to leave.

"What is going to happen now?" I ask looking at both men. "We are out looking for her... But for now, we can't find her. We have everyone looking out for her, we are taking it very seriously treating it as an attempted kidnapping..." I run my hands through my hair feeling absolutely lost.

"Mr. Evans?" I hear a voice behind me say. I swish around.  "We really would like to take your wife to the hospital, but she refuses... I was hoping you could talk to her..." The paramedic asks blushing. "We still have to do some research here it would be best if you guys weren't here anyway..." The detective says. I nod and follow the paramedic towards Flo. "Baby we need to get you checked out in the hospital we can't stay here anyway, and we need to know you are okay...."

She sighs but thankfully agrees and she gets loaded in the ambulance. I call Robert and Susan if they please want to go check up on the dogs telling them where they were brought, they sound shocked but promise to go over there right away and to call when there is something important but if they can go home, they will take them with them. Everything feels like it is not really happening as we drive of in the ambulance to the hospital. "I am scared Chris..." Flo whispers as i hold her hand Oscar still in my arms. "I know baby, but we will be okay... I promise i will do everything in my power to make sure you and Oscar are safe again."
