[Theo's running late for class, but fuck him if he's not getting his morning coffee.]

Theo hated his roommate sometimes. Not really, but he came home late last night after a night partying and kept Theo up. He'd accidentally slept through his alarm and was now in a mad dash to get to his morning class.
Now, should Theo be standing in the extremely long line at the coffee shop when class is set to start in five minutes and it's another eight minute walk? No, no he shouldn't. But he could not function without a couple shots of caffeine, and coupled with the lack of sleep, what's the point of even showing up to class if he's just going to pass out on his desk?
So, he's standing in line to get coffee that's very unhealthy but tastes so, so good, behind a group of girls that look like they might have been at either the same party that Theo's roommate was at or a rival one solely based on the type of makeup and glitter they had smudged across their faces.
God, Theo hated being late to things. As another minute ticked by on the clock.
When he finally go up to the register seven minutes later, he didn't even glance up at the cashier as he ordered, too busy with the paying process.
"I'll have you're coffee in a second," the barista said. Theo nodded as he sat on one of the nearby chairs to wait, hoping to take a quick minute power nap.
"Theo!"
Theo jerked awake as his name was called, and made eye contact with quite possibly the most gorgeous person ever.
His eyes were shone brightly in the softly lit coffee shop, long-ish brown hair brushed back, and a slight stubble shadowing his jawline. His uniform was the same as the cashier's, a black apron with the company's logo front and center with a matching visor, but even managed to pull it off pretty well. It also, along with the short-sleeve he wore underneath, did nothing to hide his toned arms.
Theo hid his emotions well. He prided himself on that.
Right now, however, as he stood to grab the drink off the counter, he was a stupid, gay mess.
He tripped on the chair leg standing up and hip checked another table on the way to the counter. When he tried offering a thanks to the most-likely-fellow college student, what came out of his mouth was, "Hanks."
Why? Maybe because Theo was maybe, severely attracted to this very cute guy and he wanted to get some form of contact info, but he also wanted to book it out of there as quick as he possibly could and be a gay disaster by himself and think about what a mess he was throughout the rest of his classes today, and into tomorrow and hopefully forget about it by at least next week.
The guy cocked his head, adorably Theo might add, in confusion.
"Hi, thanks." Theo was going to start rambling. He could feel it. He hated rambling. "Sorry. Um I meant to say 'thanks' but i also wanted to say 'hi.' Sorry, you guys are busy. I'm gonna be late. Uh, bye."
The guy just smiled at him, teeth blinding him and Theo was pretty sure he'd pass out right there if he hadn't practically sprinted.
