4 ~ Snowed In

[Theo and Liam are on a vacation in Lake Tahoe and they get snowed in.]

Theo pushed door open and had to use some of his chimera strength to close the door against the strong gusts of wind. It was almost a blizzard outside, and he and his boyfriend Liam were stuck in the cabin in Lake Tahoe for the next few days until they could leave. Everyone in the area was stuck without a chance to leave. 

His face was pink from the cold. He was bundled head to toe in warm, heavy clothes. Layer upon layer of clothing. Two shirts, a hoodie and a snow jacket, two pairs of pants, two pairs of socks, two pairs of each article of clothing, and snow boots. It was as warm as he was going to get. Theo had to trudge through the snow to a nearby store to get food and it started snowing on the way back, quickly turning to the near blizzard it was now. 

"Theo." Liam called from the kitchen. He was making hot chocolate to warm his boyfriend up. 

"I'm here. Got the food. We might be here for the next few days." 

"I can tell. Come here." The blue eyed boy handed the cup of hot chocolate in his boyfriend's bare hands, Theo having just taken off his gloves, and top layers of each article of clothing. Liam guided Theo to the couch and wrapped the both of them in a blanket, Liam cuddling into Theo's side. Theo wrapped his arms around the small boy and the two embraced each other's warmth. They turned on the TV to watch the news and apparently everyone at Lake Tahoe was going to be snowed in for the next few days. 

Liam pouted at the news but Theo cheered him up immediately by saying, "At least I'm snowed in with the most adorable and cute person in the world." Liam blushed, the blush turning deeper when Theo pressed his lips to his forehead. 

"I love you, Theo," whispered Liam.

"I love you, too, Liam," Theo whispered back, they kissed, embracing the newfound warmth their lips made, before assuming their previous cuddling position. 

Liam ended up falling asleep. Theo noticed and smiled at how soft and precious his boyfriend looked. He truly was lucky that this boy had trusted and forgave, and soon learned to love him even after everything he had done. He picked Liam up and carried him bridal style, still draped in the soft, fluffy blanket and placed him on the bed. Theo soon joined him and fell asleep with his arms wrapped around the small, tiny creature that he loved with all his heart next to him.
