I fucked up again.

You know those moments where you experience instant regret. As soon as the words leave your mouth you curse yourself for ever giving them the power to do so. As soon as you do something you're desperately praying that you could take it all back?

That's how I felt right now, watching

Y/n walk home, alone.

I could see it in her eyes, the moment I rolled out my bike was the moment they dulled. The light that swam amongst them moments before disappeared as if it had never even been there, as it it was forbidden to be shown.

I caused that.

Today with her was ridiculously spontaneous in the most rewarding way,

I had fun.

Did I plan to see her? No.

Did I plan on hanging out with her for a few hours? Also no.

But I did.

I saw the way her body went slightly rigid, as if someone cemented her bones full of unrelenting anxiety. The way her eyes widened and glazed over, becoming clouded in almost reminiscent fear, as if the presence of my bike triggered something, a memory maybe?

And then the tear came. A single tear sliding down her puffy cheek that seemed to be stained pink from the cold, the beautiful blush illuminated
against her skin. She was breathtaking, even in such a vulnerable moment her beauty was undeniable.

A walking masterpiece.

She's the kind of person you see once, in fleeting moment, passing by as nothing more than mere strangers. Yet their memory, the details of their form, that very moment remains forever engraved into your mind like a tattoo on the soul.

But I ignored it, I ignored the fright that was so visibly obvious in her eyes and I taunted her, creeping eerily closer to her, step by step, purposely intimidating her, and for what Dominance? No. Dominion? Not that either.

I don't know why I did it, why I scared her on purpose.

And that scared me.

5 things you can see.

Shattered glass, blood, traffic, an ambulance and an unconscious JJ.

4 things you can touch.

The road beneath me, the gash on my arm, the helmet protecting my head, the metal scraps on the ground.

3 things you can hear.
