"So this is Novigrad," you say once you and Geralt walked into the city, "Not quite what I was expecting." "How where you expecting it?" Geralt asks. "Well to be honest I was expecting more New York city," you admit, noticing the trash and the beggars around the streets, followed by a few streets walkers, "I mean it does, but this actually reminds me more of Amsterdam." "I have no idea what any of those places are," Geralt says. "I wouldn't expect you to," you deadpan.

You and Geralt walk down one street and spot what seemed to be a priest speaking to onlookers who had gathered to hear what he had to say as he preached with fiery passion. You figured this guy was from the Church of the Eternal Fire.
You stay close to Geralt, hoping the priest wouldn't pay the two of you too close attention.

Luckily the priest didn't, but you were starting to become hungry, which Geralt noticed when he heard your stomach growl. "Uh, you know any places where we can get some food?" you ask, feeling somewhat embarrassed.
"I know a place," the Witcher assures, small grin on his face, and gestures you to follow his lead.

You and Geralt finally reach the one place he's been to many a time during his stops in Novigrad. "The Rosemary and Thyme," you read the sign, "sounds, uh, homely," you look and see several street walkers, some of them giving Geralt certain seductive looks; there seemed to be more of them then usual, "uh, which part of the city are we in? If I didn't know better, I'd say this was like Novigrad's Red Light District."
"...you're not too far off on that assumption," Geralt admits. "Oh," you realize, "So...the Rosemary and Thyme...?"
"It was," Geralt explains, "Friend of mine inherited it and turned it into a Cabaret." "Ooh, that sounds like fun," you say, feeling a little more excited, "okay, let's go in."

You and Geralt enter the establishment to see people here and there, eating, drinking, conversing, all while a small band played a lively tune.
"So, this friend of yours," you say as you take a seat, "what's he like?"

"Geralt!" you hear a deep voice which got both yours and Geralt's attention. The man, or dwarf you should say, approached; you noticed he sported a mohawk along with a beard, all red hair. He also had an axe strapped to his back, "good to see you, almost thought mine eyes were deceiving me seeing you here all willy-nilly." "Good to see you too, Zoltan," Geralt greets back, "looks like business is good here. Have you seen Dandelion?"
"Just missed him" Zoltan tells him, "he's been trying to come up with new ways to bring in more customers. You know Dandelion, never likes to stay in one place too long." "You sure, he's still not chasing tail?" Geralt asks. "Ha," Zoltan shakes his head, "Ever since he settled down with Priscilla, the man's actually done himself a favor for once and not let wondering eyes linger on another maiden with sizable jugs. Who knows, she just might be the one. Speaking of..." the dwarf notices you and starts eyeing you up and down, "looks like you've made some new friends of your own since last we saw each other. What do folks call you, lass?"

"Oh, uh, well folks so far around these parts have called me either slut or whore," you tell the dwarf, "but you can call me (y/n), I would prefer that." "Well tis certainly a prettier name," Zoltan says, "better then whore just for sure. Though, I can't quite figure out that accent of yours. Definitely not Nilfgaard, or Toussaint, and you're no Skelliger lass either. I'm also not convinced you hail from any of the Northern Realms. Zerrikania perhaps?" "Uh, yeah no," you shake your head, "Sorry."
"(y/n) is not from this world," Geralt explains to Zoltan, "we're trying to help her get back to where she's from, but to do that we need Ciri's help. Last I heard she was in Skellige, and we need to find a ship to take us there." "So off finding Ciri once again," Zoltan jokes, "Well at least you won't have so much trouble this time, especially since the Wild Hunt is no longer on her arse. However, finding a ship to take you to the Isles will be no small feat."
