“JIRO!”
She yelled once again. I smiled. She was wearing a blue dress with a jacket and scarf. Now, her scarf have a Ravenclaw logo. I just shooked my head. What did happened about her Hufflepuff logo? I just shooked my head and looked at her.
She waves childishly again and I can't help but to chuckle. I guess, she still is a childish. Though, I could see that she acts more mature now.
I just stood there, waiting for her to come at my position. But seeing her running, I felt like someone would take her away from me.
I walked fastly. Our eyes are both in contact. I smiled widely, removing the doubts I feel all of a sudden. Meters apart, she stopped yet I still continued walking onto her.
Why? Why would I be so scared of losing her? She's just an acquaintance… with the same interest as mine.
I wrapped my right arm on her waist while my other arm pushed her head to lean onto my chest. I can feel she was stunned.
I chuckled, “geez, you're so short.”
Natawa ako nang hampasin niya ako sa tagiliran. Inalis ko na ang pagkakayakap sa kaniya at mas natawa nang makita ang salubong na kilay niya.
“Ba’t ngayon ka lang? Isusumpa na nga sana kita kasi— ouch!” Mas natawa ako nang hampasin niya ako sa braso. She was red, I guess she was that annoyed. “Nothing changed to your height, hindi mo ata sinunod sinabi ko—”
“Jiro!” sigaw niya. I chuckled and crossed my arms infront of my chest. “You’re so weird! Everyone's so weird! Oh my gosh, nasa Earth pa ba ako o multiverse na 'to?”
I tilted my head and smirked, “what?”
“That!” Sanya pointed at me and looked at my lips. “You smirked, you hugged me, Mom… Mom liked you like her son!” She rolled her eyes and looked at me, ranting. “Dad… Dad become so so strict! One to four pm lang ako! At kailangang kasama ka! Kailangan ka nilang makausap!”
I snickered, “nah, ikaw ang weird.” I stared at her and smiled, “you’ve changed a lot. Though, not obviously.”
She pursed her lips, “I am starting to put you on my most dislike list, after anime, which was my most dislike one.”
Anime, huh?
I laughed, “I thought I was already there?”
She just rolled her eyes and looked at our side. She blinked and that's when I lost my smile. She looked like a statue, not moving. After some seconds, she was teary-eyed as she pouted and pointed at the three.
“I know, right? It didn’t bloom,” I said, re-creating what I did say last year. I felt like we came back on that day when we first saw this together. Same position, different feelings.
She chuckled sadly, “and you're happy about that? It didn’t bloom, for goodness’s sake.” She faced the tree and so did I. “Sure ka bang Cherry Blossoms, 'to? Baka naman mangga 'to.”
