I had no idea what to wear. Being next to Francis and wearing ugly clothes would probably get attention. I didn't want to stand out too much, but I wanted to look presentable. "I think you are thinking too much into it," Yao laughed. "Well? I don't know what else to wear," I spoke nervously. "Just wear your normal clothes, I think you as you are is who he wanted to be around," he pointed out. Hmmm, I guess he was right about that. I could just put on my regular clothes.
We heard a knock on the door, and I felt myself jump. I didn't realize how long I was taking. "Fuck it! I'm going like this!" I said. I pushed Yao into the bedroom and rushed to the door. When I opened it, Francis was standing there awkwardly. I have no idea why he would want to spend time with someone like me. I am not exactly offering much besides working for him. "Hello, Arthur!! I'm so excited" he smiled at me. I flinched a bit and felt my face get hot at his words.
What is wrong with me? I wanted to slap my cheeks and snap out of it. Francis was like a whole different species to me. He dressed differently, spoke differently, and looked different. He is like an alien from another world. "What place for you like to go?" He asked. "Ummm.... How about the London market? there are a few shops there?" I suggested. He nodded in an exciting way and grabbed my hand. My eyes widened and I felt hot. His hands were so soft and warm.

When we arrived, there were a lot of shops to choose from, so we really just walked around and chatted with each other. He found out about how long Yao and I have known each other, he knows more about my family and the way I grew up. In turn, I was able to learn more about him. About his sister and why he was out into an arranged marriage. It must be nice... He didn't have to try to be married. I'm sure he will be having kids soon too.
"So, is Amelia amazing? Will you be trying for kids?" I asked curiously. His smile dropped, and he looked serious. "Ehhhh.... She is pretty cool I suppose, and kids? We are getting serious about that," he spoke. Something was eating him about everything. "What's wrong?" I asked confused. He looked at me nervously and shook his head. "Arthur, I like that you have the freedom to do whatever you want! You are so cool," he laughed. I lifted my brow, confused, and shrugged my shoulders.
We had stopped at the side of the sidewalk to look into a window with a bunch of stuff in it. For some reason, I got a feeling that he didn't want to be married or have kids. "You know, I've never really been one to like kids personally. All they do is cry all the time. And don't get me started with marriage, as if finding someone wasn't hard enough," I laughed.
I could sense that he turned his head to me. "You sound like the perfect person to be around! I like you," he laughed. "Because I don't like the idea of any of those things? Or because you love me so much," I teased. I smiled at him, and he looked at me sweetly. "How about we run away together then? Away from everything," he suggested. I laughed at his joke and felt myself get embarrassed. "That would be a sight! They would think I kidnapped you," I laughed.
"Oh, but it would be so fun!! They wouldn't find us anywhere," he smirked. I shook my head, smiling. That would be kind of fun, having people freak out even though we were totally fine. We both began to laugh a little, and he placed a hand on my shoulder for support.
"Look at that guy; he is so handsome, you should go up to him," I heard some whispers. Francis kept laughing, and I looked to where it was coming from, and it was a group of girls looking at Francis. They kept urging each other to come over, but it annoyed me for some reason. Here we are minding our own business, and they want to interrupt.
I glared at the girls, and they immediately took notice. Like hell, I was going to let them ruin Francis's free time. They all stood shocked in their tracks and decided to go somewhere else. "You are so funny, Arthur! Let's go get some food," Francis suggested. He never noticed those girls staring at him... Good.
"I know a good Italian place near here! You'd like the spaghetti," I smiled. I grabbed his hand and began to pull him in that direction. Besides, he is married anyway; those girls would have been rejected. "Arthur, you seem excited," he giggled. "This place is amazing! I just want to hurry," I smiled.

Once we took a seat to eat, Francis began to admire all the furniture and colors. "So, you haven't dated?" He asked. "Not really; I'd rather just wait for the right person. If it's meant to be, that fate will make sure it happens," I smiled at him. His eyes widened, and he began to nod in agreement.
"That's an interesting way of looking at it. That fate will always happen and bring you closer to where you are meant to be," he smiled. I nodded and looked down; I felt myself getting red. He looked so handsome when he was saying all of this stuff. I wish we could have stayed like this forever. I think I could survive on looking at him so happy. I bet he gets super happy when he is with his wife. I can't wait to meet her! I bet she is so nice.
