As Captain Choi parked the car, all Yeojin could think about was Yerim and Haseul. Her thoughts were jumbled up like a box full of puzzle pieces and she tried her best to not panic about the last thing he told her.

Yerim is Captain Choi's daughter and the youngest of the crew never knew that. Like, before Haseul disappeared, both of them didn't even know he had a daughter in the first place which is surprising since they're like family but this is so weird.

Squad cars surrounded the hospital with officers standing guard at the entrance. There's still a lot of police presence around the hospital in case more members of the Kim mafia show up.

Once the car was parked, Yeojin carefully got out and Captain Choi helped her walk into the hospital. She's basically numb to the pain in her ankle at this point and really hopes that it isn't broken, only badly sprained.

The cops that were at the entrance stared at them weirdly but moved aside for them to head inside wondering why she's with their police captain. Wasn't she supposed to be in jail right now?

Inside, nurses and doctors scrambled around doing their jobs while not letting the amount of cops distract them. Chatter from all of the officers' radio echoed through the walls of the first floor and people were only left clueless as to why they were here.

"Uh excuse me," Captain Choi grabbed a nurse's attention that was just about to pass by them.

A young nurse wearing light blue scrubs halted in her step and faced them "Yes?" She asked with a small smile.

"She needs an x-ray asap, her ankle might be broken" He pointed down at Yeojin's ankle while holding her up.

Looking down, the nurse noticed how swollen her ankle is and widened her eyes a bit "Oh yea that looks bad. Uh come this way please" She said motioning them to follow her across the hall.

They complied and headed into an examination room that had a variety of machines made for studying whatever is wrong with a patient. There were a few health posters hung up on the walls and a bed in the center with a small window right behind it.

"She can have a seat on the bed" The nurse told them and went to put on some gloves to examine the youngest of the crew.

Captain Choi gently helped Yeojin up onto the bed and she laid back with her legs stretched out. She knows the girls are here in the hospital and is wondering if Haseul and Jinsoul are out of surgery, alive.

The police captain didn't know about the former detective being here and fighting for her life in the operation room so the youngest of the crew is contemplating whether or not if she should tell him about it.

Its not like he'll be mad at Haseul for not contacting him while she was missing but Yeojin doesn't want him to know the Kim mafia hurt her so badly she has internal bleeding and almost lost her life twice.

That will only devastate him for not being there for the former detective when she needed help. A lot of promises have already been broken today and she didn't want add hers on that list.

Captain Choi stood off to the side and pulled out his phone to send out an important text. He had an idea and hoped that the youngest of the crew wouldn't be mad at him for worrying the one person he mentioned earlier in the car.

"Can you fill this out, please" A clipboard was handed to Yeojin who nodded and grabbed it "Alright, lets check out your ankle" The nurse softly touched the purplish ankle for any tenderness and inspected it to make sure there weren't any possible infections, cuts or bleeding.

Yeojin silently winced in pain when her ankle made a certain movement towards the right side. Its obvious by the swelling she fractured her ankle but doesn't really know how bad of an injury it is.
