Chapter 29

*Two Years Later*

Barcelona, Spain

Voices, silverware clattering and other noises echoed through the dimly lit restaurant as everyone was going on about their business. The walls of the restaurant had tons of art pieces since that's the theme and the food was exquisite to the point it makes it very expensive.

Waiters and waitresses were zooming around the restaurant, taking orders, placing orders and handing out orders to everyone. There's a bar on the side of the restaurant that's filled with people and two men were making a bunch of drinks at once without messing up.

A couple, sitting across the window were having a normal conversation while enjoying their delicious food and each other's presence. The taller woman was wearing a silk dark blue blouse and a black skirt with black boots and the shorter woman was wearing a dark green dress that goes to the middle of her thighs.

"Oh come on bubs, I know you want to go on the trip" Sooyoung said with a smile on her lips.

Jiwoo lightly pouted "I do but we haven't seen each other in a while. I've been wanting to spend time with you for the past few weeks" She mentioned before taking a sip of her wine.

The moment they stepped off the plane two years ago, they stayed at a really nice, five-star hotel while they look for an apartment they can rent or buy. It wasn't that hard since they had the money to buy an apartment and their new identities helped them get one faster.

Their lives have been going well, they're living in a one-bedroom apartment in the middle of the city and have a small dog named Willie. They have stable jobs, the older applied to be a dance choreographer at a prestigious dance school and the younger took a job as a vocal coach and producer at a well known entertainment company.

The older chuckled "We live together, we see each other every day. Look, go on the trip and enjoy being free from me" She told her girlfriend with a grin and leaned her arms on the table.

Rolling her eyes, the younger crossed her legs under the table "I love being with you, Soo. Why don't you go with me? You know Anthea? She's bringing her husband. You can come with me" Her eyes lips formed into a pout as she made her best puppy eyes to convince her girlfriend to go with her on her week long work trip.

"I know I can go with you but I have classes to teach. I need to teach the girls a new routine by Wednesday and then I have to watch over their performance on Friday" Sooyoung explained to her girlfriend before looking up at the waiter when he placed the check on their table "Gracias (Thank you)" She spoke in English and gave the waiter a smile as he walked away before picking up the check since it's her turn to pay.

A sigh escaped Jiwoo's lips "You're right but I'm gonna miss you" She said with the same pout and placed her arms on the table.

"I'll miss you too but we still have until Monday to be together" The older reached across the table and held her girlfriend's hand with a smile before filling out the check as quick as possible "Alright bubs, shall we head home?" Her lips curled up into a smile that made the younger's heart flutter.

The younger knew what they were going to do once they get home and she immediately let go of her girlfriend's to grab her purse "Of course, babe" She stood up and slung her purse over her shoulder before pushing in her chair.

Sooyoung chuckled at her girlfriend before standing up and also pushing her chair in "You know we have to leave Willie outside and he's gonna be crying loudly again" She told the younger, taking hold of the younger's hand as they their way out of the restaurant.

Jiwoo leaned into her girlfriend's side "I know, I'll make sure to leave the tv on so he forgets we left him out" She answered with a grin, making the older laugh.
