The crew were all surprised when Haseul notified them to meet tonight. They thought Jinsoul wouldn't be able to convince Jungeun to help them but it looks like they were wrong.
Also, Haseul told them to meet at an earlier time than they usually do. They would mostly meet up at around 11pm or 12am but they'll see each other today at 9pm.
Two of them wonder what Jungeun is gonna say when she sees they're part of the crew. Vivi nor Gowon have told anyone about their past history so the blonde is going to be in for a surprise when they meet.
Haseul had been working on a few things that will help them in case something goes wrong with the heist. Sure their entry is strong enough to not have them be seen but who knows what could happen.
As it becomes dark, the crew arrive at the warehouse for their meeting. Jungeun is a little shocked to see where they would meet up. The vibes of being inside a warehouse close by where the dock is causes a shiver to run down her spine.
Jinsoul reassured her that nothing bad will happen and it did calm her down a bit. The crew were already inside as they were the last ones to arrive and the older holds open the door for her.
Entering, Jungeun let's her eyes wander around the building before landing on a group of girls leaning over a table. She heard them laugh and talk about something that makes her curious.
"Come on Jungie" Jinsoul gets her attention and motions to walk to the center of the room.
The younger just nods and her feet move on their own to follow the older. She felt nervous to meet a crew full of past criminals but knew they wouldn't hurt her because she remembers who Jinsoul is.
"Yo, I brought Jungeun" The crew quiet down hearing Jinsoul speak and turn around to look at their new member with raised eyebrows.
Jungeun eyes them slowly before noticing two of her friends/coworkers standing there with a small smile. Her eyebrows furrow as she racks her memory to see if they had ever mentioned having criminal records.
"Vivi unnie? Gowonie?" She says in a tiny voice while making sure that it was them indeed.
"Hey Jungeun"
"Hi Jungeun unnie"
The two answer with smiles seeing how surprised she was. I mean its not her fault that they never told her about what illegal things they did back then.
Walking around the table, Haseul shows the blonde a welcoming smile "Jungeun, I know you're surprised but I'm sure Jinsoul has told you a few things about the heist" The younger's eyebrows furrow even more with how shocked and confused she is.
Then a realization comes to mind when Jungeun studies Haseul's face closer. She's the only person who's ever tipped her so well, how could she forget those sharp and recognizable eyes. Also, she grimaces a little seeing how bruised and cut up her face is.
Jinsoul gently pushes her from behind to make her walk up to the table. She gets placed in between Hyunjin and the older as the younger offers her a chair to use. The older just bows her head at her feeling a bit scared of her but doesn't show it.
They sit down quietly but the blonde still has to ask "Aren't you supposed to be missing?" She pointed at the former detective with a lot of confusion.
Some of them chuckle knowing how she feels and a her cheeks get red from embarrassment. Its not like you shouldn't be confused when you see a missing person yet they're right in front of you.
Haseul lightly laughs and nods "Yea I am but thats the reason why I'm doing this whole heist in the first place. Before I tell you, let me introduce the girls for you" She tells her and begins to introduce all of them except for the ones she already knows.
