"NO!"

A dreadful silence enveloped the entire room from the sudden noise that was so loud, it sounded and felt like a sonic boom. Ragged breathing could be heard quietly underneath all the silence as the smell of gunpowder travelled into everyone's noses, making them even taste it in their mouths.

Everyone's ears were ringing while their bodies were frozen solid in the chairs with horrified expressions on their faces. Their blood ran cold, their hearts were beating loudly in their ears and their eyes were opened widely as they held onto that small sliver of hope their friend is not gone.

Another sudden noise grabbed their attention, it was the sound of someone laughing in a very dark, mocking manner. It was starting to make them feel offended by the laughter because there was nothing funny that just happened, except that their friend is most likely dead.

"THE HELL ARE YOU LAUGHING AT?!" Jungeun screamed at her father with tears running down her cheeks from watching her girlfriend die in front of her eyes "You just killed my girlfriend and you have the balls to FUCKING LAUGH!" Her blood was boiling to the hottest point there is as she jerked in her chair, feeling outraged at her father while also feeling heartache from not being able to save the older.

Hongjoong finished laughing and wiped fake tears from his eyes before looking at his daughter "What? You thought I'd just kidnap your girlfriend and kill her without having some fun first?" His lips curled up into a creepy smile, making them a little unsettled and confused "Aw, come on girls. I didn't even kill her yet. See?" He yanked the blue haired mechanic's shirt to make her lift her head and look at them with her eyes filled with bewliderment.

Noticing she wasn't dead, Jinsoul stared at the girls with her eyebrows raised as her heart was beating out of her chest from feeling the bullet that was supposed to kill her whizzle passed her head and into the wall. Her lungs were still screaming for air and one of her ribs were basically poking the side of her abdomen from being improperly manhandled earlier.

They scrunched up their eyebrows with puzzled expressions to see their friend isn't and were relieved to say the most. Heejin and Yerim released a shaky sigh of relief as Vivi swallowed down her tears that wanted to escaped and almost laughed at herself for believing the blue haired mechanic was dead.

The older waitress couldn't stop the tears from escaping her eyes but they were happy tears this time. Seeing her girlfriend staring back into her eyes made her entire body relax a bit from the grief she was feeling literally two seconds ago and she couldn't believe her father didn't kill her yet.

"Come on Jungeun, you know how I am. I always have fun with people who betray me first before I get rid of them" The mafia leader told his daughter with a dark chuckle while waving his gun around "I was only teasing you to see if you actually loved Jinsoul more than this stupid heist crew. Seems like I was right, you don't love her enough to save her life" A smirk replaced the smile on his face "Let's have some fun, shall we?" He let go of the blue haired mechanic and stuffed the gun into the back of his pants before walking over to a table across the room that none of them noticed.

A variety of tools and weapons were laid out on the rusty table, making the girls furrow their eyebrows in suspicion. There were different types of knives, brass knuckles, an aluminum bat, a large wrench, a crowbar, a car battery with jumper cables, a jug of gasoline, a pair of pliers and an axe all on the table.

Jungeun had an idea what her father was gonna do to her girlfriend "What are you doing? Don't you dare lay a finger on her! You fucking touch her, I will kill you!" She thrashed around in her chair for a second to see if the ropes would loosen up but for the nth time, they didn't, making her grit her teeth in frustration.
