Just as the clock strikes 6, Haseul stopped from working on the heist to go prepare for her date with Vivi. Even with how injured she was, that wasn't going to stop her from taking the older out.
She had woken up late due to the pain meds and hasn't checked the news to see if the person who attacked her is part of the Kim mafia.
The pain in her shoulder is making her not able to move a lot but she takes some pain meds. There's a cut along her jaw and she hopes that Vivi won't find her ugly with it.
Grabbing a change of clean clothes, Haseul walks into the bathroom. She carefully takes off her t shirt to put on a gray button up to make it easier for her.
The former detective slips on some black jeans slowly. She hisses a bit when her left arm jerks back as she had got shot there.
Haseul ignores the pain and goes to make herself look presentable for the date. It was gonna be a little hard because of the cuts and bruises around her face.
Managing to cover up some scratches on her face, Haseul walks out of the bathroom to grab her keys. She makes sure everything is turned off before going up to the small safe in the corner.
Punching in the code, the former detective opens it to grab her glock 17 and shoves it behind in her jeans. She had lost the other one in the ocean but has a back up from when she worked as a detective.
Haseul closes it and goes to hop inside her car, ready to leave. She opens the garage to drive off just as the sun is nowhere to be seen except for the moon.
The drive to Vivi's apartment is a bit far because of how the younger lives in a warehouse away from the city. Haseul drove with her left hand as her shoulder hurt to move.
As Haseul drove, Vivi is already dressed for their date and sat on her couch waiting for the younger. She had on a nice blouse with white jeans and some flats.
The older thought how their date would go and hopes for more. Maybe after the whole heist, they can see if their relationship develops into something bigger.
A knock on the door cuts off her thoughts as Vivi jumps in surprise. Getting up, the older walks to the door and opens it to see Haseul dressed up and a bit in pain.
Vivi gets worried "Hey are you okay? You seem to be in pain" Her eyebrows furrowed in concern.
Haseul side eyes the hall "Uh can I come in real quick?" She pleads and even if the older can't see her whole face due to the mask, she knows the younger is frowning.
"Yea of course, come in" Haseul walks in quickly and scans the clean apartment. Vivi closes the door and turns around "What's wrong Haseul? Is this about what's on the news?" Her question makes the younger's eyes widen.
The former detective freezes "What's on the news? I haven't seen it today, I've been busy" She asks and casually holds her arm feeling it hurt a little.
Feeling confused, Vivi walks up to grab the remote and turn on the tv "The police found the body of someone associated with the Kim mafia at the docks, seems like he was murdered" The screen shows the news coverage of what went down last night making the younger angry.
Swallowing hard, Haseul sighs "Shit, they know I'm alive" She mumbled out and stares at the tv screen with an unreadable expression.
The older turns to look at her with concern "Haseul? What's going on? Did you have something to do with this?" Her questions were fired at the younger firmly.
Sighing, the former detective decides to tell her what happened "Last night, I was at the docks to pick a few things we need for the heist. While I looked through a container, someone open fired at me and I pulled out my own weapon too return fire" She begins and looks at the older who closes her eyes in frustration.
