The Smiths and I

Chapter 4. First meal with the Smiths

I stepped into my room stunned at the sight of it. Back home I had to share a bedroom with my little sister in our box size room, now in the Smiths house my bed takes up more space than my room ever did. There was a double bed right in the middle of the room with pink silk covers and a post at each corner of the bed with pink curtains draping across them being held back, and there was a TV hanging of the wall in front of the bed .

I looked around and analysed my new room taking in the beautiful interior before I heard a cough coming from behind me. "having fun"he said. "yes, I am having fun thanks very much " i replied turning to Nate ."do you like your room?" he asked questionably. "Yeah , duh it's amazing", I sang. "well then your dead easy to impress , anyway dinner is in 30 minutes and mom wanted me to tell you , bye"he said turning to leave."okay bye, but directions to the kitchen?" I asked . "yeah ,there's a map in your desk that Daniel aka suck up made for you" he replied leaving me alone once again after I rolled my eyes at his snarky remark.

After 20 minutes I had unpacked my multiple suitcases into my new closet and decided to take a shower in my own bathroom. I peeled off my sweaty jeans and top and took out a pair of my old softball teams shorts (who I played with when I was 15 and I haven't grown since) with "Diamonds" the teams name written on the butt of them and a white tank top and an oversized grey hoodie with a pair of matching grey vans .

when I was finished getting dressed , tied my hair up into a messy bun and put on some mascara before taking out Daniels map and going downstairs to the kitchen. when I got to the closed door of the kitchen , I heard my name but I couldn't tell whose voice was who's .

"Her name is Riley "

"Yeah, and she is like my age"

"She is also a really good ball player"

"Well I could make her better if you know what I mean"i gaged as I knew it was Lucas talking as they were talking about football.

"Oh, and she is so hot "

"Yeah " they all said ,agreeing.

That moment I decided it would be a good time to enter and at the table i saw Mason , Lucas ,Conner , Nate , Tyler and Alec .

"Hey guys " I sang cheerfully as I walker into the kitchen. They were all sitting at the table to my right as I walked in."Hey Riley , have you unpacked yet?" Mason asked. "yeah ,I unpacked , had a shower and got dressed, thank you for asking,"i replied .

"Yano in future you don't need to get dressed " Lucas commented before winking at me .

"is that something I should be telling your girlfriend Lucas" I replied almost instantly, walking over to where he was sitting with a questioning look as the rest of the guys laughed. I rested my hands on the table leaning down to be eye level with Lucas .

"I can see down your jumper Riley " he smirked ."nice bra". I rolled my eyes straightening up.

I turned away from them to get my self a glass of water as I heard Nate say " Hmm , Diamonds". I spun around quickly knowing that he had been reading my ass!! "Hahaha, now she knows that you were looking at her ass you fool." Tyler said and Nate blushed a small bite. "oh , you think your so smart ,do you Tyler?" I questioned as things began to get eerily quiet . "yeah?" He answered unconfidently. "well , your not because the only way that you could have know that diamonds was written on my shorts was if you were looking at my ass to!" I finished as Vanessa came in with the rest of the boys trailing behind her.
"Oh , hi Riley did you find your room okay?" She asked politely.

"Yes , thank you very much " I called back.

"And do you get along with the older boys?"

"Yes I do , but I think that someone else got a treat and enjoyed our conversation more than me" I said with a smirk, before all the older boys started sniggering except for Tyler who blushed slightly.

"Okay , well let's have dinner" Vanessa said eyeing Tyler , the older boys and me suspiciously.
