A sharp blade was pressed into the back of the criminal. It was piercing through his dirty clothes and into his skin so much that a slight blood drop would leek out of the fresh cut. "W-who.." he stuttered while being frozen. "Let go, the Lady said no. If not I'll have to cut you in two." The blade pressed more threatening into his backbone and it was now him who was trembling in fear, not Jisoo. With slow motions he released both arms of her and also his knee away between her legs. After being freed, she sunk down on the ground and pushed herself further away from the criminal and looked up to her hero. The golden blond hair which was peeking out beneath the hood seemed like rays of hope for her. "Now get out of my sight before I change my mind on sparing you." "Y-yes Sir.." he rushed out onto the open street and almost stumbled.
"Akito!" Jisoo had tears of relieve in her eyes as she called out to him. He sheathed his sword and kneeled down to her. Without hesitation he pulled her into a tight hug which calmed the girl down from the huge shock. As her sobs came to a stop, Akito released her from the hug and inspected her. "Are you alright? He didn't do more?" She shook her head. "I'm glad I wasn't too late." Again he hugged her and buried his face in her neck. "Thank you Akito.." "It's okay Jisoo. I promise I'll always protect you. But.. what were you doing here?" "I though I saw you walking on the road and tried to follow you.. then I ended up here." "Oh dear.. don't walk into dark back alleys all alone even if you think you saw me, okay?" "Okay, I wont do it again." Akito released her form his embrace again so he could help her up to her feet. "Let's bring you back." "Uhm.. can't we spend a little more time together?" He was taken aback. "I.." 'want so badly' but he didn't had time for it.
Before he could deny her request he had already taken her with him to an offside park who less people visited."I'm actually in the middle of something but.. for you, I have a bit time to spare." The prince smiled gently at her and Jisoo brightened up. They stood already in the middle of a brightly blooming park. "So my Lady, would you like to rest or take a walk with me?" "I don't mind either as long as it's with you." This simple line shot another of Amor's arrows onto him. "Then please allow me.." his voice became a whisper as he pulled her into his strong arms. The hug they shared perviously felt so good for him, he wanted more. Wanted to feel more of her warm touch and inhaling her soft fresh flowery scent.
Jisoo's cheeks flushed as he suddenly embraced her, but she didn't resisted. Instead she buried her face into his chest. This felt so right, as if two halves found each other. It made her forget about everything what happened before and also made her forget about the questions she had like why was he sneaking around in this area.
They stood quite a while there just hugging and enjoy each others warms till they were satisfied and slowly retreated. "I'll bring you back now, okay?" With a nod Jisoo agreed. She was sad that their shared time was already over but even if the time was short, it was satisfying and she knew that no matter how less the time might be they spend, he will always make her heart flutter. "So, to where should I escort you back?" "I was at.. oh crap! Lilith!" She rushed off into the direction they can from with Akito following up and a joyful laughter coming from him. Her forgetting made him surely entertained.
"Lady Arden, would you like some more tea while waiting for Lady Ayers?" "No thank you, I had enough tea." The mage still sat in the store while the sun was already setting with annoyance on her face and a small stack of dresses she already bought next to her. 'I can't believe she ditched me!'
After escorting Jisoo back the Prince returned to the palace. He immediately went to the office where he expected his aide, but the office was empty. He stepped out into the hall where a butler was standing. "Have you seen Lord Raito?" "Your Highness, I heard he was received a guest currently in the second sitting room." "A guest? Why would he invite anyone without consuling me.." the last past of his sentence was more a question to himself as the butler so he didn't expect an answer. "Pardon, I heard he is meeting with a Lady." "What-" it struck him like a lightning and he rushed off to the sitting room Raito was in. This could only mean something bad. Even if he hoped it, Akito knew he wasn't meeting up with their new palace Magican since he saw her only a few minutes ago as he returned Jisoo. So the woman he met could only be one.
"Lady Peres!"
Akito slammed the double doors open and saw exactly whom he expected sitting on the sofa next to his aide. From what he saw, those two must have already talked for quite a while. The tea was half empty and she had inched closer, leaving the courtesy space behind them and was giggling while her hand was laying on his knee. But she didn't giggled for long as she heard her name being called out by Akito. "Oh my, Lord Frazer. I greet you, but isn't it rude to interrupt the crown prince having an enjoyable time with a guest?" She smirked and peeked to him, then to the fake prince to watch his reaction. The smile he had one moment ago dropped from his face. Akito on the other hand was relived to hear her refering as prince to him. Nothing had leaked yet. And with that weird behaviour his aide showed since recent he felt like being wary was the right thing to do."What's going on here? Why do you invite her?" "I thought I already told you the reason. You can't forbid me to meet the woman I will spend my life with" "Oh Raito~" Saiyumi interrupted their serious getting talk with her joy. "Your life with? Are you in your right mind?" "Yes I am." Raito stood op from the couch. "Just before you barged rudely in, I wanted to propose to her." "HUH?! You can't." But his protest came to deaf ears. "Yes, yes of course I want!" Saiyumi jumped up from the couch and threw her arms around him. "I will be the most graceful princess for you~" "Raito!" The situation went out of hand and the real Prince went serious now. "Guards, escort Lady Peres out of the palace immediately!" Royal guards who always stood as security in the hall rushed over by this command and pulled her rather rough away from the fake prince. "H-hey- is that a way to treat his fiance??" She snapped at the guard but they still pulled her away. Raito stretched his hand out to her but he couldn't interfere like he wanted. He was not the real Prince after all so they wouldn't listen to his commands in this situation.
"Don't worry my Prince, I'll tell everyone about us so Lord Frazer wont be able to interfere in our love!" She called while being dragged out.As the pack was gone and the two men left alone a short silence fell over them till Akito interrupted it. "You must have lost your mind. Why are you proposing to her with my identity??" "We are in love and I will tell her my real identity once our plans are over." "Do you notice we had a similar talk just a while ago where you yelled at me for fooling around with Jisoo? Now you're doing the exact same thing. No, your doings are worse. She is an uninvolved and not my real fiance like Jisoo plus she thinks she is engaged to the Prince. Me!" "So you think the nobles weren't shocked to see the Crown Prince fiance playing around his cousin the young Duke?" "Ugh.." Akito was rubbing his forehead and starting walking up and down like always when he was stressed. "We have to make her stop spreading this engagement nonsense before it affect my real engagement. My father will be out of it if he gets a dust of this." "This isn't nonsense. But yeah, we should stop the spreading for the sake of his Majesty." "I can't come up with anything beside cutting off her tongue!" "I dare you!" He stopped walking and thought deeply. "I.. will let her be called back to the palace with an fake reason. The best way to control her will be..." He sighed deeply. "..to keep her within our reach." It was to his own displeasure but this idea enlightened his cousin. "You make preparations for her stay and I.. will come up with a reason." "Yes, your Highness." With a slight smile and a polite bow Raito left to take the preparation. Left behind was a concerned prince who couldn't even trust his own aide anymore.
