Raito was running through the palace halls. He had only one goal in mind, finding Saiyumi. The last few days she brought literal salvation to him, so he knew his headache would fade as soon as he saw her. It was a carving like in an addiction. He pushed the door to her room open but she wasn't inside. Quickly he spurted into another direction where he assumed her whereabouts. His headache grew worse during the search and his heart was drumming wildly. Raito's heart had begun to beat faster since he had seen Lilith. And after facing her for not even five minutes, the headache rose. But why? 'Did she cast a spell on me? Haven't we been on good terms? What happened to that time...?'

Raito had to lean against a pillar and squeezed his eyes shut as a memory tried to come back, of them being together in her room. The sudden pain wave caused him to not be able to grasp a clear thought anymore.
The only resolution he could draw was that the magican had clearly casted a spell on him and Saiyumi was the remedy.

As Raito finally found Saiyumi on the grand balcony, his face was covered in sweat. Saiyumi dropped the tea she was holding and jumped up from her seat. "Oh dear-" "I need your help, my love." "Yes, you need me." Saiyumi turned to the maid and shooed her off so she could be alone with her Prince. Raito dropped meanwhile to his knees in front of her. His face was pale as he looked up. Without bending down to his level Sai cupped his cheeks. "Who did this to you?" "Lilith.." Saying her name made Raito winch and Saiyumi's eyes darkened. "That witch.. She casted a spell on you, my dear." "Yes.. a spell.." Like hypnotised by her voice he repeated in a mumble. "Don't worry, I shall soothe the evil curse. Close your eyes." She glanced up and scanned her surroundings. After confirming no one was around, she reached to her bracelet and pressed into a hidden button beneath a large gem. An ominous reddish aura came out of the gem and she held it now next to Raito's head. "Everything will be fine. Just stay by my side and listen to all I say, then no more pain will haunt you." Raito's expression finally softened and the pain faded away. His eyes slightly opened and an empty gaze lingered on the red haired girl. She shouldn't help but smirk from the view of her puppet.

However, Saiyumi was being watched from a distance. Jisoo was sitting together with Akito in his office. Since he had to finish a few official documents, she stayed and waited for him. She was gazing out of the window in boredom as she watched the entire scene unfold on the grand balcony. First it was only her sipping arrogantly tea but it became interesting as Raito almost crawled to her and kneeled on top of that. The red ominous aura caught her full interest. "Hey Akito." "Mhm?" He hummed to her without lifting his head. "Can Lady Saiyumi use magic too?" He looked up now. "No, her family doesn't possess the ability to." "Is that so? I though I just saw her using magic.." "You saw her?" Now Akito became curious about what she might have seen and dropped his pen. "Yes. It looked differently than Lili's magic but I'm sure it was magic too. There was some red sparkling light." Akito stood up and walked to look out of the windows as well. Sadly Saiyumi was already gone. "What did she do?" "She used it on Prince Raito." "On Raito..?" Now the real Prince became highly concerned. What was it what Saiyumi did to his cousin? "Jisoo, quickly go and find Lilith. I must ask her what it was what you saw." The alarming tone in his voice made her catch up fast on the urge of the situation and she hastily rushed off to find her.

A few minutes later the girls both stood in his office. "Yes my Lord?" "Have you heard of red sparkling Magic before?" Aktio questioned her straightforward. "Red magic?" Jisoo jumped in to explain the question further. "Yes, like your magic sparkles white just in red." "Oh you mean it that way. No there is none. Pure magic of mages is always without any colour. The only cases where a colour is visible is if non mages use spells with the help of magic items. And red spells are.." Lilith had to ponder since she herself never used items as help. "What kind of red was it again?" "A dark one." "Hmm.. sounds like a curse spell.." The eyes of Jisoo and Akito widened. "Where did you saw something like that? It concerns me you two know about this." "I just saw Saiyumi using red magic on Raito..." "!!" Lilith gasped and Akito hit the table in frustration. "Damn! It all makes sense if that wench cursed him!" "L-language my lord.."
"Lilith, do you know how to break a curse?" "I know the theory." "Good, let's look for him."

The three went straight to Raito's room after hearing for a maid that he went there after coming back from the balcony. Akito pushed the door roughly open and stepped in. "Raito." His cousin sat on the edge of the bed with an empty gaze and looked into his direction after being called. "What a luck that wench isn't here." Akito looked out into the hall again but saw no guards nearby. "Jisoo, you'll help me to hold him in case he might resist." "Huh what- I mean yes!" "Lilith, do your.. thing." He gestured towards Raito and then stepped closer to take hold of his arm. "Hey, what are you doing Akito?!" Unaware of what was going he looked away from the Prince and towards the Ladies. "Stay away you witch! Don't come closer to me!" Raito began to resist as soon as he noticed that Lilith was there and stepped closer. Jisoo rushed to the free arm and began to hold him still as well. "Please hold still, I'll try to make it as fast as I can."

Lilith laid her hands onto the sides of his head while Raito was vehemently trying to pull away from everyone's grip. She began to cast a foreign spell and he thanks gleamed with light. Soon Raito's empty gaze was filled with the same light and he stopped to resist. His knees gave in and Jisoo had to struggle to hold him up while Akito was carrying most of his aides weight. It seemed like a success and everyone brightened up until he suddenly began to resist once again. Loud groans signaled that the procedure was paining for him. The noise soon attracted people who entered Raito's room as well.
