It was a new day in the Royal palace and after getting late out of bed, Jisoo spend some time with Lilith to rant about her incredible wedding night. "Oh wow.. I'm not sure if you should tell me so much in detail... I mean he is still the King." "Don't worry. The amount of information is exactly right. This way you know what will await you once you get married too~" Lilith had told her during the celebration yesterday that Raito had proposed to her but she still hadn't told that she actually already had her first night. It wasn't exactly something to be proud of but since they were engaged now the shame felt lesser. "You know.. actually.. I had my first already." "Pardon? Really?!" "Yes.. but don't tell anyone!" "Right, of course. I won't tell anyone." "Thank you." "Since you'll marry the Duke now, you will stay in Valeis and can become my Lady in waiting! Yayy!" Lilith laughed over the excitement of her friend. "I suppose so." "When will you marry?" "I don't know. We haven't talked about anything yet. And we still have to notify my father... I assume he won't be pleased." Jisoo leaned in an whispered "Maybe you should tell your father that you had your first night with him. Then he has no choice but to let you marry." "This would leave a rather bitter impression." "Hm.. I guess you're right. Don't worry too much, it will work out."
Later the day Lilith was invited to the Frazer estate. Since she accepted his proposal a lot had to be discussed now. Solomon, who took his job of escorting her very serious, tagged along. They sat now together in a sitting room. Raito eyed Solomon suspiciously. The past two months they didn't exactly grew to best friends. "Does he have to be here?" "Don't be concerned Duke. I'm representing Marquis Arden. After all, I'm the next Marquis." "Right.." His attention flipped over to his fiance. "I've already send word to your father." "Oh good." "I estimate a positive response so we can go ahead with planning it. Do you have any wishes?" "I just want to marry as fast as possible. Everything else isn't important as long as it happens." A slight confusion overcame Raito. "Really? That's not what I expected.." "Is it bad that I want to marry the man I love so fast?" She tilted her head slightly what threw him fully off. 'Damn.. how can she look so cute while saying that.' Quickly he cleared his throat to keep his cool since they weren't alone.
"I mean, I'm flattered. I'll look for a close appointment." He flipped open a calender from the table. "If I consider other festive and the weather.. The best call is spring. In about 6 months." "What? That's too long. Why can't we make it next month?" He blinked. "This is too close to the Royal wedding and the harvest festival time will start soon after. And the winter isn't an month I personally want for our wedding." "Is there a rule we can't marry close after royals?" "No there isn't." "Then I want it next month before the harvest time." She looked as if she had made up her mind. In only one month was too fast and so Raito searched for help in Solomon. The mage had leaned back on the couch and watched their discussion with amusement. "Oh future Marquis, would you care to support my reasoning?" "As much as I'd love to support you, my in-law, I have to agree with Lilith." Raito stared blankly at him and his not existent help. "If we don't hurry, how is our cutie supposed to fit into her dress?" "Pardon?" Lilith's eyes widened suddenly. The mage looked from the Duke over to his cousin and grinned cheekily. "Lilith is pregnant~"
A verbal bomb just blasted and before Lilith could counterattack by hitting him, Solomon teleport away with a laugh. "You're pregnant?" Raito couldn't believe his own ears. There was no chance in denying it now that the secret was out. It was a mystery to her how her cousin knew when no one knew, but this was the lesser worry now. Her only worry was now how Raito would take it. "Uhm.. yes I am." A pause fell between them. "From whom?" "Okay.. This question is insulting.." Another silent pause. "From me?" "Yes, there's only you." "You're pregnant from me?" "Yes, silly." "We did it only once.." Lilith sighed at his weird behaviour. "I know. But once is enough as you can see. Actually a scary quota if I look at our future.." "I will be a father?" Raito was still in the process of understanding the unbelievable news and she hoped she could sweet talk them slightly. "Eh.. yes. This is our baby. Oh, and your future heir..?" She admitted to herself at being bad at sweet-talking It. To her luck it wasn't necessary since in Raito's face a smile lit up. "This is great! Why didn't you told me sooner? And why did your father rejected my proposal if you're pregnant?" "He doesn't know.." "Ah.. I see. Yes I understand your concerns. Okay we will marry next month." "Thank you!" Her eyes sparkled up. "Now come here and let me hear what my little one is doing." He reached out to pull her closer. "Sheesh.. It's only two months, you know?"
With this being said, the wedding took place one month later and no one could see that she was already pregnant. There was no resistance from her father. He approved right away for his daughters happiness. Another six months later Lilith bore a healthy daughter. She had the eyes of her mother and soft pink hair. They named her Penelope. Half a year later Jisoo gave birth to a child as well. It was a boy who resembled his father in every way. It was the first prince of Valeis and they named him Ian. It was a glorious day to the Kingdom and blessing for the future.
Happy end.
