They have always envied eachother, but they are really good at hiding it
Lia envied her because she, Hailey, is crown princess
Hailey envied her because she, Lia, was perfect
Lia didn't need pressure to be perfect in everything, but Hailey did
She had to be "perfect" since she's the crown princess
"HAILEY!" Yelled a voice downstairs "I NEED TO SPEAK WITH YOU!"
"Sigh, father's calling. I will be in my room if you need me" said Lia
"I will try and remember that" Hailey replied "Coming, father!"

"HAILEY!" Yelled Drew "I NEED TO SPEAK TO YOU!"
"Coming, father!" Spoke Hailey as she walked downstairs
"So, what is it, father?" Asked Hailey
"Good question...well, I noticed that eversince you went to that village, you've been extremely happy. Mind telling me why?" Said the King
"I...I met someone there..." she responded
"And who is this...someone?" Asked the king
"Uhmm....I don't know..." she replied, trying to sound truthful. It kinda worked, but not entirely
"Well then, let's go to the village. I would like to see how it's like" admitted Drew
Hailey was shocked. Drew, the king, would like to visit the village? Oh boy...things weren't going to go as planned, she thought

"Is that him? The king?" Said a villager
"It is..." spoke another
King Drew walked in the village casually as people started to bow
"Say, who was this person again?" Asked Drew
"P-please don't be mad with me..it's-" she got cut off by a scolding
She turned to see the periwinkle haired girl and the peach haired boy once more
"JAKE STERLING! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOURE DOING?!" Yelled the periwinkle girl
"LOOK, MA, IM SORRY OKAY?! I JUST KICKED SOME BANDIT'S ASS AND THEY REPAID ME WITH FOOD! I DIDNT STEAL NOTHING!" The boy protested
"I DIDNT ADOPT YOU FOR THIS!!" She scolded
"Is that her?" He asked, looking at the periwinkle girl "I don't care about your sexuality dear, I just care about attitude and looks"
"N-no..." she responded, heartbroken because of what he'd said. Just attitude and looks?
Damn
"So, it's peach boy, isn't it?" Said Drew
"Mhm..." she replied in a guilty tone
He just smiled and patted her back. She cherished these kinds of moments dearly, hoping that they never end
"It's okay..I'm not upset. If you do truly love him, then ask him, okay?" Said the king
He sounded so sincere...was he changing? Impossible...
