"Claire!" my mothers cries called out to me. "Claire!"

I ran towards the voice, feeling like my feet were getting me nowhere as the voice got further and further away. "Mom! Where are you mom!?" I screamed in panic.

My throat felt like it was closing up. Walkers reaching out and snapping their disgusting teeth out of me. All they wanted was a bite. All I wanted was my mom. Randall. A little hope. Everything was falling apart. I screamed, falling to the ground as something holds me down sitting on my back.

"Mom!" I can see her. Nate and Andrew are dragging her over. There's blood dripping down her forehead. My stomach churns. I know what's about to happen. I have to stop it.

"Claire, help me Claire!"

I struggled under the weight on top of me, thrashing around as Andrew held a sharp knife up to my mother's neck. Where was Randall? Why was no one stopping it?

"All you had to do was give me a little action stupid bitch," Andrew hissed before he slid the blade across my mom's neck.

My eyes widened, my vision becoming blurry as the blood spurted out of her neck. She fell to the ground -the group I was with laughing like it was some sick joke. "Get off of me!" I whimpered, my voice coming out quietly.

I scrambled to me feet, the group that was around me suddenly changing into the very things that wanted to tear my flesh apart. I didn't care. I dropped to my knees, crying as I wiped my mom's bloody hair out of her face.

"Mom, wake up," I whimpered. "Don't leave me."

"Claire." Her voice rang in my ear as a tight grip held onto my hair, pulling me down. I let out an air piercing scream, my mother biting into my neck and ripping the flesh off. "No, no, no," I repeated in horror. I pushed away from her -falling to my back as I pressed my hand to my neck. I stared up, a sad smile on my face as walkers hovered over me, Randall's decaying face mere inches from mine.

"Goodbye Claire," he snarled, opening his mouth where black blood spilled out of.

This is it. This is my end. My smile only grew as I close my eyes. There's no hope left so what's there to fight for...

.

I shot up suddenly, my breathing uneven as I struggled to calm my racing heartbeat. It's just a dream. It was just a dream again Claire. You're okay. Everything is fine.

"You okay..." a small voice asks softly.

I turned my head to find Carl making his way over to me. I nodded my head, reaching a damp hand up and wiping my forehead slowly. I was drenched in sweat and my head was pounding. "I'm fine," I said after a few moments of silence.

I kicked the blanket off of me to get up, only to be yanked back by something on my wrist. I stared blankly at the cuff around my right wrist, the other link cuffed to the metal head board. What the fuck. Rick. I know I went a little overboard earlier, but I don't think it's necessary to handcuff me to a bed. Fucks sake, he already hit me out cold with his fucking gun.

"Where's your dad Carl?" I asked, my voice harsher than I meant to.

Carl shrugged. "I don't know. Sent Glenn off to find him."

"Glenn was in here?"

Carl nodded, a smirk on his face as I looked away with my face heating up. I huffed, yanking on the cuffs a bit. "I don't need to be tied up, I ain't going to hurt anybody."

"I know," Carl piped in. "That's why I stole my dad's keys." My face instantly lit up as I looked at Carl astonished. This kid was sneaky, I'll give him that. "But I can't unlock those things until I come back. I need you to cover for me."
