Mitsuko’s POV:
Upon arriving at the cabin, I saw Yuzu crying and Harumin trying to comfort her. This girl has gone through a lot of difficulties in her life and the only thing that has kept her is Mei. I decided to help her because she is my sister's best friend and also, I saw her as my little sister.
"Haru, this is Kayo and she would be the one to help hunt down the place," I introduced Kayo to Harumin and Yuzu. Although Kayo resembles a person who knows nothing, she is a smart person.
She started taking her laptop and asked Yuzu for some details… probably the number from which she is getting messages so that she can try tracking it. We have two more people with me who know how to handle guns, because we may need them to break and enter the place once we track them down.
Mei’s POV:
I am awake now and I tried to see if I could have some idea of where I am, but it was not possible. I heard the same steps walking toward me. This time, I decided to talk to her before she injected me with whatever was making me sleepy.
I recognized that she would be a girl and asked, "What do you want from me?". My voice resonated in the room and she stood there silently for a few minutes until she got close to me with the injection.
“Don’t do that… I just wanted to talk with you to know what is needed from us?”, I yelled at her. But she said nothing.
“You are a coward.. Keeping me in the darkroom and not showing your face," I spat at her.
She laughed at me, which seemed so familiar. "You still haven't changed Mei," the way she talked to me, I know who she is. I mean, what she's got to do with me. I haven't hurt her.
"Why do you bring this upon me?" I'm just your...", before I could finish it, I was injected with what made me sleepy and I fell asleep.
"I do not want to harm you Mei", the voice whispered in my ear that made me shudder.
Yuzu’s POV:
It's been 3 hours since Kayo started working on her laptop but she's not able to find anything. I lost my patience and started walking around in the room with anxiety. All I care about is what that stalker fool is doing to my Mei. There I received a message from the stalker, "If you want Mei to be alive, leave everything and come to me. I shall await your answer until tomorrow.
Seeing me getting panic, Mitusuko grabbed my phone and saw the message. His eyes began to flush with anger, "How dare they send such a message?".
Tomorrow is our marriage, but this person is playing with my emotions, which means they're following us and watching over everything. I started to cry loud and that's when Kayo jumped out.
"At last I found her," she cried, that everyone looked to her with hope.
She is there, West Street, in a secluded building. I hope she doesn't change places because she has been there more than a week,' she said without breathing.
"She?" asked Haru and I, asking us who that would be.
"Yes, it's a she... give me a minute, I'll get her name," Kayo went back to her laptop to check out the details.
My eyes were locked with Haru on surprise who would it be stalking us and kidnapping Mei to get me.
"Here... her name is Melanie", she told and began working on laptop again.
“Melanie…. It can't be...." I muttered and sat on the couch in shock.
“Melanie… Yuzu? is it the same girl whom you...", before Haru asked me, I understood what she meant and I shook my head and said "yes".
