Mei’s POV:
I'm not sure what to do about that girl. She says she loves me, but she has slept with so many girls. I yelled at her. I couldn't keep myself in check. I usually don't mind, but with her, I couldn't control my emotions. She left me without saying anything.
I saw Yuzu moving towards me, "Mei..."
"Never attempt to touch me," I yelled at her. She stopped there, but I see tears streaming through her face.
“I am leaving Yuzu”, I said and slammed the door and went to my car. I don't want to be alone, so I phoned the only person I share things with.
By the time I arrived at my mansion, I saw her car and when I entered the house, she was sitting on the couch.
"Mei Mei, what's the matter?" Your eyes are reddened. You cried?" She took me in her arms. I shrugged.
"Please tell me what happened?" Is it about Yuzu?" She knows what happened between me and Yuzu. When I heard Yuzu's name, I began to weep uncontrollably.
"Himeko, she told me she loved me." I've been waiting years for that. But, I felt pain in my heart when she confessed. She loved me, but she got away from me. She knows no one can comfort me except herself. But she left me in wrath and suffering. When she came back, I thought she would come back to me. But all she did was play with girls. hooked up with them. Every time I saw her with a girl, there was a sharp pain in my chest. She hooked up with my best friend. She didn’t even know the damage she caused”, I sobbed.
Himeko said nothing. She knows that her words cannot comfort me. But she hears me without question. She just circled around my back and tried to calm me down.
"Why don't you ask her the reason for her disappearance?" Maybe she has a reason," said Himeko.
“I did ask her. All she said was that she wasn't ready to share something with me yet. Dammit…. She is my fiancée.Why don't they share it?" I cried with my louder voice..
Yuzu’s POV:
Mei loved me. She really cared about me. So, that girl… she lied to me to convince that Mei didn’t love me anymore.
I have to speak to Mei. about everything. I thought this marriage was just for two families to enhance their business. But now it means a great deal to me. How can I keep quiet when I know Mei loves me.
I was unable to control my happiness...
I hollered from my balcony. “Mei loves me”
I dialed Harumin, “Yuzu, I will kick you. Why are you calling at midnight?" she said with a hoarse voice.
"Mei loves me," I cried happily with my full voice.
"Screw you," she hung up the phone. I smiled and sent a text to Mei.
‘Hi Mei, I know you might have slept. So, can we meet tomorrow? I will answer all your questions', I breathed and looked up the ceiling.
Within 5 minutes, my phone rang and I noticed a text from Mei.
‘Sure’
‘Thank you, Good night fiance’ I sent her and waited for her reply. I didn't get one, though.
Despite everything, my mind is peaceful as I thought, tomorrow will be all right.
Would we get better tomorrow?
