Malianna is missing, and her father doesn't know yet.

The sweltering sun cast its light in a bright wave over the bass guitars and the drums eclipsed the shadows as his last music lesson conculded. He ruffled the boy's hair with an encouraging grin. The mother gratefuly handed over the few crimply bills of cash.

"Thank you so much, Mr. Adonic."

"You're welcome. He's doing awesome. I'll put you down, same time next week?"

The mother loked relieved, "Yes, thank you!"

"Not a problem. See you next week Anderson."

"Thanks Sir Doni!" The boy waved happily as he was guided into the exhausting sumer heat.

Taking the weak bills, he went to put them in the music lesson register and logged into his money tracker and typed in the deposit, date, and who it was from. Saving the new input of money, the desk phone rang.

"Mike's Music Emporium--Steph?" He froze at the sound of her frantic voice. "Steph, slow down. Breathe. What happened?" His heart dropped.
