I went home that night about and hour or so after I cried to Eve. My mum came to pick me up on her way home from work in St Andrews.

"I'll be in the Base!" I called out to my family as I stomped down my stairs to my safe haven, where I knew I'd be free. I'd be free of all the stresses and worries of reality. This isn't a book after all. I'm not Cinderella and I'm not gonna get my Prince Charming. Simple as. Life isn't some fairy tale story.

LYRICS! Oh they're good. I smiled.

I went to my booth and sat on the fluffy carpet. I took my note book and wrote down those six simple words. Before I knew it I was pacing my booth trying to figure out the rest of the chorus.

KODY! Stop pacing I can feel your frustration from up two floors!

I smirked, Kayden I'm sorry but I've made a break through in a song.

Ahh right. I thought so but what's got you so stressed out? My twin could read me like a book. He knew something was wrong and I loved him for that.

I sighed, Just a bad day. I'll be fine. Just let me finish this before I burst!

Kayden laughed, Ok by the way dinner's ready!

"Urghh!" I left all my notes scribbled down on random music sheets and pieces of paper scattered round my booth and went upstairs.

"Well Kody how's your day been hun?" Dad asked as we sat down and enjoyed our meal.

"It was good I guess." I said with a shrug.

I shot out my chair the same time Kayden did opposite me.

  My family groaned.

Kayden just looked at me. My gaze locked on his.

  What's wrong Kody?! He pleaded.

Nothing! He glared. I sighed, I'll tell you later.

You better! He glared harder, before sitting back down.

"Ok." Finn stated, "Why do I have twin siblings mother and father?"

"Well son," My mum started, "It's a very complicated procedure that I don't expect you to understand but first you have to be i-"

"Stop!" I shouted along with my two brothers.

My father chuckled, "Pass the salt baby." He said to my mum.

I fake gagged, my mother giggled. Giggled!

Illegal! No she can't do that! Illegal activity here!

Kayden chuckled. Obviously that wasn't my own thoughts.

  Agreed, little sister, agreed.

"Well I'm done, so bye now." I put my dishes in the dish washer and went my down to the base.

Five or so minutes later, within the time I'd done nothing with my song, Kayden came down.

  "So what's up?"

I sighed and explained it to him.

"Well I won't offer to beat him up 'cause that won't really help matters, but I'll do this..." My twin said, "I'll leave him be and let him see for himself that he's missing a wonderful opportunity and losing a beautiful, smart, funny, brilliant, sarcastic girl."

I smiled at my brothers words, "I love you Kay." I hugged him tightly.

He chucked and his chest vibrated with the sound, "I love you too Kods."

"Now." He looked at me, "Can I hear this song?"

  "Yeah I guess." I shrugged.

(A/N Life Isn't Some Fairy Tale Story by Orla Jones. Don't judge I did this as quick as I could for you guys. I worked on it during school as well!)

"It's not one of my best songs." I said to Kayden, "I also don't have a tune yet."

He smiled at me, "That's fine Kody. I just wanna hear what you have."

I took a deep breath and let it out before letting my brother hear the lyrics I had so far.

"It was just around the riverbend,
  Beauty saved her beast,
  Cinderella found her Prince,
The shoe was a perfect fit.

  Ariel walked on the shore,
Jasmine flew straight to cloud nine,
  Snow White's song came true,
She rode off with her Prince.

  But that's just a story,
With a happy ever after,
  This is reality,
Life isn't some fairy tale story.

  A hundred years passed,
  Still love was found,
Mulan was guided by a dragon,
  Merida followed the Willow Wisps.

Tiana kissed her frog Prince,
Rupunzel let down her long hair,
  Anastasia travelled back home,
The underwater city even had love!

   But that's just a story,
  With a happy ever after,
  This is reality,
Life isn't some fairy tale story.

  I'm not a princess,
  I can't be perfect,
I'm not the one for you,
  I gotta just face it,
  Get on with it,
'Cause life isn't some fairy tale story."

  "They're good Kody." Kayden nodded.

  I smiled, "Thanks Kayden."
