The walk down the road to the Pavillion was nice. The Pav -as the locals called it- was a restaurant that was built so that the golfers, tennis players and bowlers could grab a bite to eat. There was also a play park for the kids, that's where I was going.

I heard them before I saw them.

"That was priceless and I got it on video!" I heard Brendon exclaim.

"What did you get on video?" I asked as I walked over to them.

  "Kody!" Tessa shouted, "You came."

I smiled, "Well yeah of course I came."

Zac walked over with Derrick and Eve. I smiled and waved at them. Zac had a lopsided smile on his face as he waved back at me. Derrick just smirked.

"Hey Kods." Eve said giving me a side hug.

"So what did I miss?" I asked my friends.

"Oh well you missed Tess go down the baby slide and get stuck!" Brendon burst out laughing.

"Come on!" Tessa face palmed, "It wasn't that funny."

"Tess hate to break it to you," Derrick said putting a hand on her shoulder, "It really was, I even had to help you out."

"Ok, so I'll admit it was quite funny but there is no need to keep going on about Brendon." Tessa sighed.

"So why are we here?" I asked.

"We just wanted to hang out." Zac shrugged his shoulders.

"But we've spent the whole day together don't you want to go home." I cocked my head to the side and looked at him.

  "Well yeah 'course I do."

"So why are you guys still here? And why'd you call me?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

Derrick smirked and nudged Zac with his elbow. Zac blushed slightly and shrugged.

"It didn't feel right having all of us here and you sitting at home whilst we had fun. You're one of us now." He smiled at me.

I couldn't help the feelings I got after he'd said that. I don't quite know how to explain them... I felt... weird. I'd never felt like that before. I was warm and my heart rate picked up a little.

  You're one of us.

He accepted me. I smiled at the thought. I looked round at all of my smiling friends and I knew that I was happy. This was my band. This was where I wanted to be. With my friends. If possible my smile grew even wider.

"Well guess you're stuck with me now." I turned back to Zac and smirked at him, he smirked back his clear blue eyes sparkling with mischief.

  "Yeah. I guess we are."
