2 weeks had passed. I had been living in LA with my brother for a little over a month now. Although I was rarely at his house or with him, I was usually with Mads or Josh since I had gotten close to them. This weekend I was at Stagecoach with Josh and a few of his friends. He invited me to go with him a few days ago and of course, I accepted.

After day one of Stagecoach finishes, we head back to the mansion we're staying at. We gather in the backyard where we eat, talk, and film TikTok's. Josh saw I was shivering, so he gave me his sweatshirt. "Thanks, guess I forgot it gets cold in the desert at night." I laugh. He chuckles, "No problem." As it got later, everyone else goes inside to get ready for bed, leaving me and Josh alone. He wraps his arm around me and I lay my head on his shoulder. We cuddle up to each other and sit in comfortable silence for a moment. I close my eyes as he begins to stroke my hair. "So you've been in LA for a while now; how do you like it?" "If I had a dollar for every time I've been asked that question, I could literally buy this house." He laughs, "No, but seriously, do you wanna stay permanently?" "I would love to. I mean, I've made so many great friends already. I know people say it's impossible to find real friends in LA, but I feel like I have." "Yeah, I thought so too when I first got here, and look at how that turned out." He looked down at his hands and plays with them, "But Mads is great. She's an amazing friend and she'd never betray you. " "Yeah, she really is amazing." I smile. "Your smile is so pretty." I blush, "Stopp!" "But you're even prettier." I giggle nervously, "Let's not gas me up." "I'm not! Seriously, Julia, you're gorgeous." "Well, you're not too bad yourself cowboy." I tug on his hat. He chuckles before focusing his eyes back on me. I stare into his beautiful blue eyes before shifting mine onto his lips and then back up. He does the same before leaning in. This was the moment I had been subconsciously waiting for. When his lips meet mine, it's ecstasy. Our lips dance for a minute before he pulls me onto his lap. I giggle as he bites my bottom lip. I take off his hat and place it on my head. One of my hands runs through his hair as the other caresses his cheek. One of his hands holds my chin, while the other sits on my waist. Our intensifying kiss was broken up by Josh's phone ringing. He picks it up and looks at the caller id before showing me his screening and saying, "Your brother." I climb off his lap and plant a quick kiss on his lip. "Night Richards." "Night Jules." I throw his hat back as I enter the house.

Sorry for taking so long to update, it's testing month for high schoolers in Florida rn, so I've been fighting for my life. This is my last week of school. I'm currently just finishing up finals, but come Thursday, I'm completely devoted to y'all for 10 weeks! I'm so excited; you guys have no idea. I'm finishing up the last 2 chapters of "Faking It", but it won't be out until I have a new book published, so you guys will have something new to read from me. I'm currently working on 6 unpublished books: 2 on Vinnie, 2 on Josh, 1 on Chase, and 1 on Jaden. I'm not sure when they'll be out, but Jaden's and Vinnie's will be out first, most likely by the beginning of June, so get excited. I think most of them have pretty interesting plots, except one of them because it has a pretty similar plot to "Faking It", but the rest are completely original concepts.
