I watch Julia walk inside. Her every move is so mesmerizing. When she's out of sight I focus back on my ringing phone. I wipe the transferred lipgloss off my lips and then answer the facetime. "Sup, Bryce!" "Why was my sister wearing your sweatshirt in the TikTok's you guys posted?" "Damn straight to the point." "ANSWER THE FUCKING QUESTION, JOSH!" "Ok, ok. She just got cold, so I gave her my sweatshirt. No biggy." "That's it?" "Yeah, that's it." Well, besides me making out with your sister before you called. "Ok, I believe you. Sorry for overreacting; I just can't have you two involved with one another. If things turn sour, then I'll have to pick sides and I really don't wanna lose my best friend." "Yeah, I get it, bud. Don't worry; nothing's going on between us." "Alright, man. Good night." "Night, Bryce." I just fucked up, didn't I?

Julia's POV:
After I was done getting ready for bed, I lay on my bed, and call Mads. "Do you know how late it is right now?" "Yeah, but it's important." "Are you dying?" "No." "Then it's not important enough for you to be facetiming me at 3 am. Go to sleep!" "But it's about Josh." I blurt. Mads stops in her tracks and her expression shifts from exhausted to intrigued. "Go on." "I thought it was too late and not important enough to talk about right now." "Bitch, if you don't tell me right now, I will hang up on you, and you'll really have to wait until tomorrow to tell me." "Ok, well, I kinda made out with Josh." "What do you mean you kinda made out with Josh? You can't kinda make out with someone. Either you did or you didn't." "I did." "AHHHHHHHHH!" Mads jumps out of her bed and starts running around her room and dancing. I was laughing at her when Riley walks into Mads's room. "Mads, what the fuck are you doing? It's almost 4 in the morning." "Julia made out with Josh!" Mads was now dancing in circles around Riley. "Hi, Ri." "Hi, Julia." She climbs on the bed and sits next to the camera. "Can't believe you had girl talk without me." We all laugh and Mads sits next to Riley. "Congrats, baby girl. Not to say I told you so, but I told you so." "Haha, I know. I think I really like him and that kinda scares me." "Yeah, I get it. Falling is easy; letting yourself fall is the hard part, but it'll all work out." "Thanks, Ri." "Trust me, she's right. God knows that boy is smitten." Mads says under her breath. "What do you know?" "Nothing!" "Madison Rose Lewis!" "It's really late." She fake yawns, "And we're really tired. Aren't we, Ri? We gotta go. Love you! Bye!" She hangs up. What is she hiding?
