Tonight is David Dobrik's birthday party. I'm going with Josh since Mads is in Europe and Bryce is busy.
Once we arrive, we go our separate ways.
I head over to get a drink when someone grabs my arm.
"Josh, not now!"
"Josh? Wait, are those rumors really true? Are y'all dating?"
I turn to face the person.
I freeze in pure shock.
"Nice to see you again, Julia."
"Jaden! What are you doing here?"
"I was invited just like you. Are you not gonna answer my question?"
"Oh no, we're not dating. Just friends."
"That's what they all say. I guess that's a good thing since he's over there talking to Janesa."
"Janesa?"
"Nessa. See."
He places his hands on my shoulders and directs me towards where they're standing.
"They look really close, huh?"
"Yeah, they do. That must suck for you."
"Nah, I'm good; I'm here with you. You wanna dance?"
"Sure."

As we danced, I felt a whole lot of eyes on me, but 2 pairs were more intense than the rest.
Parker and Josh's eyes were fixed on us the entire time we danced.
The jealously could burn right through our flesh, but Jaden didn't seem to notice, so I ignored them.
We grind together rhythmically.
And once the song concluded, Parker approached us.
"Hi, Julia. I'm Parker; Cooper's sister."
"Oh yeah, nice to meet you!"
She flashes a phony smile.
"Anyways, J, do you wanna head out?"
"Uhh, sure. Bye, Julia."
"Bye." I wave shyly.
As soon as they're out of sight, a hand grabs my arm and drags me out of the party.
"What the fuck were you doing?"
