Mads's Pov:

I just got off the phone with Julia. She told me she leaves to go back to Maryland on Monday and won't be back until after memorial day. I know the break will be good for her, but I think for her to move forward and healthily process her emotions, she needs to talk to Josh, so I'm gonna be the catalyst. I call Josh. The first time he doesn't answer. "Fucking bitch!" So I call again and again until he does answer. "Why the fuck are you blowing up my phone?" "Why the fuck did you not answer me the first time?" "What do you want, Mads?" "I want you to talk to Juju." "Juju?" "JULIA!" "I already tried texting her; she won't answer." "Try harder. She leaves on Monday, so figure something out, like I don't know going to her HOUSE!" "Leaving? Why are you so mad?" "Because you hurt her feelings, Josh. She locked herself up in her room and went like 4 days without eating! Now she's leaving town!" "What? Where's she going?" "Maryland, going to visit her mom. She saved your ass by telling Bryce she was just homesick." "Alright, I'm on my way over to Bryce's right now. Thanks for telling me, Mads." "You're welcome. Fix this or else I'm gonna fuck you up, capisce?" "Understood. Bye, Mads." "Bye." I sigh as I put down my phone. I really hope they make up, for Julia's sake.

Josh's Pov:

I never realized that my actions don't just affect me, but everyone who's around me as well. The last thing I want to do is hurt, Julia. I rush to my car and drive as fast as possible to Bryce's. I sprint to the door, pound on it, and Bryce answers. "Hey, is Julia here?" "Yeah, she's upstairs packing. Why?" "Mads just wanted me to drop something off for her, so I came to bring it to her." "Oh, ok. Go ahead. Can you tell her that I'm leaving for the airport, please?" "Will do." I run up the stairs, slowing as I approach Julia's door, and knock on it lightly. "Who is it?" "It's Josh." She peeks her head out the door. "You shouldn't be here." "I know, but I really need to talk to you." She swings the door open. "You've got 5 minutes."
