Chapter Twenty-One

(Jason's POV)

Rocky steered Festus while Leo fell asleep on his neck with Rocky behind him, making sure he didn't fall off. I sat behind Rocky and let my forehead lean against her shoulder gently.
My arms were around her waist as I looked at the land below. We past Lady Liberty and then there was nothing but water underneath us.
I felt my body weaken from tiredness and my butt going numb. Rocky looked at me and her gaze softened, "Jason, you can go to sleep. I can watch you and Leo while steering Festus."
I shook my head, "No, its fine. Really. I'm not tired." I yawned and Rocky laughed and kissed me. I smiled at her and closed my eyes, falling asleep.

My dream started out weird. I was in a park, I think. I looked around and saw Thalia next to me, playing with me as a woman walked over to us. I realized I was a baby and Thalia held me, protecting me from the woman.
"Thalia, go into the car. I'll take Jason to the car." She said. Thalia refused and the woman took me out of Thalia's arms. Thalia glared daggers at the woman, "I don't care if you are my mom, you don't control me."
Our mom glared at Thalia and she watched Thalia walk to the car. She looked at me as a dog-- I mean Wolf came and sat in front of us. Mom looked at the wolf then at me. The wolf turned into a woman, and I realized it was Hera.
Mom looked down at me once more, "Good-bye, Jason." What?! My own mother handed me to the goddess. Hera held me as my mother walked away, crying all the way to the car.
Hera walked the opposite way to a cave, talking to me, "One day, Jason, you will save me from a terrible fate." I didn't hear the rest as I saw another wolf. This one looked like the alpha, I recognized her. Lupa.
Hera set me down on a blanket in front of Lupa, "He is one of the seven. Take care of him, Lupa." The she-wolf nodded and gently grabbed the blankets between her teeth, taking me to an abandon house. That's when I suddenly woke up to yelling.

(Rocky's POV)

"LEO!" I screamed as my brother fell off Festus as I lost control. Jason woke up and saw Leo falling. "Help him!" I told Jason, tears forming in my eyes. He nodded and flew down to grab Leo. I tried getting control of Festus, but I failed.
Jaosn had Leo, but I felt Festus falling closer to earth. I cried and tried again, Festus's eyes flashed red as he woke up again, saving us from a terrible crash.
Festus steadied himself as we looked at our surroundings, Jason and Leo back on his back. "I think we are in Quebec." I said, shaking a little. Leo took the reins as Jason held me, trying to calm me down.
I was shaking and crying. I nearly lost Leo and Festus. I realized now how much I was fond of the bronze dragon. He was like family to me. Jason kissed my cheek and told me to get some rest. I refused but my body agreed. I fell asleep in Jason's arms, fearing the dreams I may have.
